Mite-Rid is a fully bio-degradable miticide, is not toxic to animals, and under normal use will not affect the plants metabolism. Highly effective against two-spotted and red mites, Mite-Rid is also reporting success with Eriophyid mites such as the Fuschia Gall Mite which is endemic to parts of California and also known as the Mendo or Mendocino mini.

Excellent Product, works quickly. Cost effective.
Legit product. I received a clone with mites. I hopped online to read about a million stupid methods by a thousand "expert" growers.Time does not equate experience. Experience does not dictate quality. Here is the process to rid your soil based, coco, or hydroponic plant of mitesYou'll need the following:Dawn dish soapMITE-RIDElastic WrapA bathtubPH measuring penStart this process at NIGHT, it may cause minor wilting and may need the night to recover. Neat Science fact: Most plants do their recovering at night. Plus you're supposed to apply MITE-RID at night anyways.Take two paper towels and wrap the base of the plant with them, in order to protect water from running down into the medium and subsequently into the roots.Place elastic wrap over the top of the pot, covering all of the medium.Fill the bathtub with PH balanced water (5.6) at 73 degrees and a few drops of Dawn dishwashing soap. 5-7 drops. I let it turn into a literal bubble bath.Dip the ENTIRE plant inside the bathtub EXCEPT the soil/coco/and roots (obviously), ensuring to be careful to NOT get a single drop of soapy water near the medium as you invert the plant.Sway the plant gently back and forth while gently running your hands over the leaves and branches.Keep it in the bathtub for 2-3 minutes, just making sure all parts of the plant (minus soil/coco/roots) was submerged.Drain the water, turn the shower on and drench the plant to get the soapy water residue off. Pull the elastic wrap and paper towel off the plant, exposing the soil/coco/roots.Fill up a spray bottle with 1ml of MITE-RID with warm water and spray the plant and soil/coco/rockwool thoroughly.Place it back in your system, or isolation chamber if you have one, or back into the greenhouse (at night). Keep a fan on the plant to inhibit any further mite mating, although this is really optional, it's my hypothesis that with a thorough dunk job, no mites are left alive.Your plant might look wilted and sad. This is normal, they don't like human baths. In the morning the plant should be perked fully back up, leaves NOT dry or shriveled but rather facing up and very perky. If they are dried, you added way too much soap or did a poor job of rinsing the plant off afterwards with the shower.I literally only treated it with this method, ONE single time. That was about several months ago and the plants survived to harvest without a single mite ever being seen again. Again... I never had a single mite appear again. No exaggeration.Once your plant is fully recovered, defoliate the leaves that showed signs of mites feeding (spotty leaves). Observe for new spotting in case of a re-occurrence of mites. Why Dawn? Isn't that toxic for the plant? You need to understand the science and anatomy of any given Mite. Mites have an exoskeleton that is critical to their survival as it provides them with protection.Think of it like their skin being inside out. Mites can only thrive in humid or wet environments. When a Mite comes into contact with a detergent, in this case Dawn soap diluted in water, they instantly die as the detergent explodes them like lemmings, as well as eliminating all eggs. Dawn is safe, remember that PETA, EPA, and wildlife agencies use it to get oil of birds and marine animals after oil spills. It is a safe and effective detergent and can be rinsed off safely.

I'm REALLY good. 1 maybe 2 treatments and you are done
Listen fellow indoor farmers.....I was horrified by the creatures when I first started growing. Didn't know how to kill these mites. 20 years later....I'm REALLY good. 1 maybe 2 treatments and you are done. Hint. If possible hold plant upside down and spray from the bottom to the top of your plant. Sit plant rightside up and spray from top to bottom. Spray the soil. Do a thorough job and your little friends are gone. This Mite Rid is the SOLUTION that works!

Your mileage may vary
Even though I carefully followed the directions to the letter, this did not work for me at all. The mites laughed and redoubled their efforts to destroy all vegetation in my house.

This product works great. Been at war with these pests for way to long and could not get the upper hand no matter what I threw at them. Followed the directions and with two treatments they were gone.
