Pitched out the flimsy stakes that came with our tents and only use these now. They will easily go into hard dry ground without bending.

Super handy if you're doing vehicle based camping. Bought them to secure our vehicle awning guy ropes when we encountered rocky soil. Which I found was 90 percent of the time in BLM and national forest lands. It's kind of hard to screw these up. They're steel. They have heads you can hammer. Hooks for securing line. And you pound the daylights out of em with a sledge and they don't bend. One time I feared I wouldn't get one out of where I hammered it. But I little tapping in either direction with hammer and some firm prying it was freed without any damage. You won't regret buying these.

Love these stakes. Would not recommend for sand or really soft soil, but anywhere else...desert, forest, campground, they are excellent. 50 years of camping and the last three as a nomad setting up a canvas tarp in wind, these get the job done and hold tight.

These came and do look exactly as pictured. The build quality seems to be very good. As soon as I started using them, realized I am going to throw out every other type of stake and replace them all with these. These are nice and strong and had no trouble at all being hammered into the compacted rocky soil at the site I just used them at. Used to bending at least one of the old stakes nearly every time here. So I'm just going to get rid of those and get another set of these heavy duty stakes. Excellent value!

These are great and sturdy tent stakes. They worked very well with my Coleman shelter canopy without any issues being pulled up with the wind. Don't depend on the mess storage bag that comes the stakes as it will fall apart after the first use. Great purchase other then the storage bag
