I needed to know the acidity and hardness of water from a borehole for brewing beer.This simple kit worked well both to measure the incoming water and the mash.Recommended.

Accurate readings
Have been buying these for a while for daily testing my hot tub. Easy to use and good value. Previously purchased the Jacuzzi brand, which have a much smaller quantity per pack and much more expensive

Limited shelf life
The hardness test strips gave me a good indication of hard and soft water. they were easy to use.The container holds 150 test strips the only problem is they have a shelf life of 100 days according to the instructions, hence due to the short shelf life, will not be used. My requirement was to test my water softener a couple of times a year.

Its easy to read, and easy to use, but for some reason sometimes colors do not match, especially on alkalinity and PH readings, they are very dark and do not match the color on the bottle. not all time but just random strips, so I see it a bit of a waste of them when you need to check readings 2x 3x times to be sure water is save and good to use in my lazy spa

Very easy to use. Only problem is that they will only last one season. Other versions are in 2 sealed bags so last 2 seasons.
