Make in USA and wonderful product and customer service
I agree with some of the reviews that the pieces are hard. However before I leave a negative review I call the company. These are made by Meyer Farms in AZ. He did say they used to be softer but the process was longer and he didn’t want to charge more. So what you do is soak a bit and then give to your pet. These are 100% no additives and made in the USA. If my chihuahua can eat them your dog can.

These are five-dog approved
I've got five Mini-Aussies, mom and her four pups that are 1.5 years old now. I have bought many many different kinds of treats, like freeze dried chicken, or beef, or lamb. Bully sticks, chicken jerky, cookie-style, etc. These are their number one favorite by far.

Doggie crack
My shih tzu is the world's pickiest eater. In 6 years I've bought so many pricey dog foods and treats that he turns his nose up at. They don't go to waste. I either donate them to a shelter or give them to my son for his dogs who eat everything. My dog's low appetite triggers his diabetes spells, which include projectile vomiting and epileptic-like seizures. Vets have never done him any good at all......So I keep trying. These treats are like doggie crack for him! I give him 3 or 4 at a time, and he spends the next 5 minutes hunting for more. I'm disappointed to find that they're not actually organic, but for now we're happy just to have something he will eat that's basically healthy. And having that little bit of nutrition 2 or 3 times throughout the day does seem to be helping with his sick spells.

QUALITY PRODUCT
The company name is Bellyrubs Organic. The product is not. This is misleading. Freeze-dried lamb liver is available from this company. Not knowing, we purchased the freeze-dried beef liver. That said, our Chihuahua loves these treats but we learned the hard way that we can't give her too many at once as organ meats are rich. The package gives a suggested serving size. I was influenced by the company name when selecting which brand of product to buy but changed my bad review to a good one because I think this is a quality product.

The American Sheep Industry Association definition of lamb:
I bought the product for my dogs, and sprinkle on their all organic (certified )meals as a treat. I researched the product and learned thatThere are several problems with this product:1. The claim is organic, but there is no certification seal, so the claim is false. This could have legal liability for the company.2. In the US, there is clear definition of "lamb", and the food product could be a sheep (see Association citation above).3I It is often is "implied" that "lamb" is under 14 mo. old, but that may not be the case. According to Association data, there is a great "lack of clarity" with regard to the definition of "lamb".4. Since there or 500 functions for the liver as an organ (see Google), including detoxification, this is another concern for me. Also read "Raising Organically Produced Lamb".Given this product appears to give false information, AND the other concerns above, I will not buy this product, or "lamb" at all, except perhaps from "Dogs of the Earth", after I contact them.

Great product!
I have tried quite a few freeze-dried products, from Beef Liver, Chicken, Chicken Liver, etc. This one, by far, has the best quality and the dogs (Saint Bernards) just love it. I use it for training and it is big enough, and won't crumble, that I am able to hold it throughout the requested task, until they get the reward. I highly recommend!
