Great for CCW Permit
It is leather so it will last; attractive and has two pockets--one for the CCW permit and the other for your drivers' license or firing range membership, etc. When you first get it, it is stiff and wants to stay open; I closed the case and weighted it down to get it to stay closed. In States that require permits for CCW, you must always have the permit with you--this is easy to access and can be tucked into a belt, pocket, etc. Just what I was looking for.

Sized correctly for South Carolina permit.
It seems like a nice holder. The viewing windows are made of very clear plastic..The stitching looks good. If allows me to pair my drivers license with my permit. While it maybe made of leather it is very processed and stiff. It will not stay close just sitting there. May get better with time, but I doubt it. Maybe that's a good thing, that it automatically flips open.

Useable
Right size to be unobtrusive in pocket. Can hold a second CCW from another state. Plastic is kind of cheap and it wants to spring open, but I put it in my back pocket and sat on it a week, and it stays flat now. It has no silly badge for the police to threaten you about, if you're stopped for a traffic ticket. I'm satisfied with it.
