Black Wrap Around Fit Over Sunglasses w/Yellow Polarized HD Night Vision Lenses

These are polarized yellow driving glasses which are perfect to reduce the glare from oncoming headlights. Since the lenses are yellow, this is the right color to tame those blue headlights which seem to be popping up everywhere. I have nothing personal against people who have more money than sense so they rush out and buy blue headlights. But I can’t really sympathize when they develop splitting headaches from driving with them. Blue is a color which focuses in front of rather than on the human retina so it pretty much guarantees a headache with prolonged use.These yellow glasses would appear to me to block enough of those harmful blue rays to make night time driving more comfortable. The blue headlights come out looking kind of greenish white. Plus, being polarized, they reduce the glare from those big styrofoam and aluminum pickup trucks that have lights hung all over them like the space ships from the 70s movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". Finally I come home in the evenings without getting a headache.

I bought these because they said super dark. But they were not that dark. I have light sensitive eyes and need really dark glasses on bright days. I'm sure they would be dark enough for the average person. Just not for me. But still usable for me on not so bright days.

I have transition lenses on my glasses. Anyone who wears them knows they don't get dark in the car. I got tired of paying for prescription sunglasses that don't get used much. I've had several fit overs before some very expensive and they were just okay. I've recently moved and now commute directly into the sun. The old ones weren't dark enough. These glasses are perfect and I can still see the dash. What's even better is they fit very tightly to my regular glasses. I'm sure eventually these will get scratched up and I will definitely buy them again.

I got these for migraine days when I have to come out of a darkened room (sometimes wear them IN the darkened room). The over/wrap size was very important as my head is fairly large and having them squeezing my head would be worse than useless. I have found them very helpful.

The lenses are lighter tint than the ones I've been using. They are polarized, but the polarization is somewhat weak -- if I "cross" other polarized lenses, they appear to go from completely black to essential their original shade every 90 degrees of rotation. When these are crossed with another polarized lens, the field darkens every 90 degrees, but just slightly. Still, should be fine. My wife objects to the overly dark tint of the pair that I have, so she should be happy with these.
