Good but Assumes You Know More than a Beginner
I'm brand new to Adobe Premiere Pro and this book came across my desk when video editing became part of my job description. It did help me figure out tips for cutting a long interview short, but doesn't address any trouble shooting tips for problems and I wish the tutorials could be followed with our own videos instead of the ones downloaded from the internet (which my IT dept was furious about). Its still on the shelf as a reference but this is still too much for someone brand new to the program. I wish it broke down more of the basics from the start up of bins to exporting settings.

So Out of Date
As with most books dealing with software, it quickly becomes obsolete. This may have worked for the 2019/2020 versions but it is so out of date once the 2021 version came out. Sure it covers features that are good for every version, like how to import a clip and place on a timeline. But for features that are updated, like lumetri color, or new features, think dialogue transcription, it is useless.
