CND Shellac Gel Nail Polish, Long-lasting NailPaint Color with Curve-hugging Brush, Plum/Berry Polish, 0.25 fl oz

Color is on the pinkie finger in the first photo, two layers. In the second photo, it is used over CND Plum Paisley.This color is not opaque, but if you layer it at least twice it yields a very unique, light, color, that shines differently depending upon how the light strikes it. It looks VERY different on your nail than it does in the bottle. It shines, brown, grey, green, blue, pink. It is an excellent 'special effect' polish to wear over other colors. I plan to try it over many different colors. The polish goes on very smoothly, and like other CND Shellac colors, lasts for two weeks.

As far as the timeliness of receiving the product and the ease of purchasing it, it was overall a good experience. However, once I went to use the product it was far from a pleasant experience. The polish went on clumpy, I had to apply 4 coats before it would cover in a complete color and it never fully dried under the UV light each coat that was applied. I felt the product was defective or maybe old? Either way. Between the product price and what I paid for shipping, it was around $23-$26. Definitely NOT worth it. Very unhappy about the quality of the product unfortunately.

Very sparkly and can be more neutral if fewer coats or much darker with 4 coats. The picture I shared is with 4 coats. Yellow/Gold and pinkish are the colors in this polish.

Beautiful color and I've had it on for almost over 3 weeks now! I still have it on, no since in taking it off if it's still looking good right? I can't believe how long it has stayed on, I'll buy more colors forsure! 👍🏼

This color is a deep burgundy when applied, not the "berry" color in photo. I like dark colors and I knew from prior reviews it would be darker so I am happy with it.

Not as dark as we hoped. Still a good color

The colour turned out to be too grapey-purple for my liking, but that was not the main problem. It's one of the most difficult consistencies of the entire Shellac range to work with. Applies in patches, shrinks and bleeds. Almost makes you suspect a fake, but I know that the application of different colours (even within the same brand) does vary. But this was especially bad.

Product is quite translucent still looks nice but for solid colour needs 3 layers.

I was a bit suspicious to try my own shellac at home - due to lockdown and nail salons closed again. But this was no problem at all, the colour is beautiful and it was easy to apply - even as a first time user. So far it lasted a week without any problem.
