Good Book. Deserves better care in Shipment
This is a a very good book and also an expensive one.Usually one, two or even the four cornes of the book suffer a lot in the delivery. There should be a policy for the shipment of books that ensures that the book arrives to its destination in the best condition posible.Or better yet, in mint condition, especially when you are buying something new.I would have wanted that the book would have arrived in better shape and not with wrinkles in the cover and in some pages. It is not a damage that makes worth the inconvenience of filing a complaint but I sure expected betterMaybe a corner protector made of thick recyclable paper, cardboard or carton could be used

An enticing title but only that
I found it excessively wordy in technique descriptions to the point of being cumbersome. This meant smaller photos which are clear but too small and not enough of them. So less blab and more photos for balance. The overviews on mechanisms of pain theory are excellent and complex as they should be as so much remains speculative still. The books hardcover is shoddy and cheap as its Chinese bound in probably some shabby, recycled cardboard. Its bendy and fragile which I hate in a medical reference book. I find a number of my osteopathic texts superior to this in a number of ways but I'll keep it anyway. Initially the chiro-osteo theme caught my attention. Live and learn.
