Columbiawomens Arcadia™ II Jacket Shell Jacket

Not bad quality but size is big and cannot wear it outside as it is freezing cold

Ordered both the Columbia and North-Face rain jackets. I love the Columbia because it fits a bit bigger no problems adding a sweater/ hoodie underneath for an extra layer. It’s a bit longer than the north face which is great for me as I’m 5’9 and most medium sized clothes are short and boxy instead of long and lean. Over all the Columbia is more comfortable but the North Face has a neck layer which keeps you warmer than the Columbia. Happy with both.

Didn’t blow my mind away like I was expecting, look and material wise. But am still waiting for it to do so on the purpose front. Waiting for monsoons to hit. The zips are cheap, one pocket higher than the other. My first Columbia purchase and I’m far from impressed. Was planning to buy their winter jacket and snow shoes, not so sure now. There’s no inner pocket in this jacket, which there should be.Please go true to size, I read a few reviews, went a size up and found myself lost In the jacket. Had to exchange for my true size.

I have the exact same Columbia jacket from a few years back in a smaller size and there are very noticeable differences in the quality. First of all the logo in this jacket is printed which makes it come off as cheap. The logo in my older jacket is embroidered. The older jacket have an extra bit of lining that the new one did not. Also the pockets are not sewn evenly in the new jacket, one of them is higher up than the other. The ties on the zippers are thinner and smaller on the new jacket and the zippers feel cheaper and not as strong. I noticed the new one was made in Indonesia and my old jacket was made in Taiwan. I don’t know if that makes a difference but I wish this jacket was the same as my old jacket. I mean it should be, they are after all the same exact name from the same company. That is why I purchased it in the first place, and I feel misled. Maybe they don’t make them like they used to? Other than all that the jacket fit well and it did what it’s supposed to do, kept me dry. I will be keeping it because I needed a jacket for a while and I’ve already used it.

Fue un regalo para mi esposa, le pedí talla L y me comentó que sintió que es más cercano a un XL, no tuvo problema ya que buscaba que le quedara holgado, si no es lo que buscas quizá puedas considerar pedir una talla menos de la habitual.
