This is a great little tea pot. All parts are washable and easy to clean. Including plunger. Not sure what you mean by threaded.

Stainless filter is where you would put the loose tea and use it again and again.

Q: Can you confirm that this is 17 oz and indeed has black top and black handle?

The teapot I received did indeed have a black top and handle and was the 17oz. size. However it did not have the stainless steel filter. The filter was plastic so I returned it.
