Bonjour Tristesse

Wonderful description of how an intrusion between a close father daughter relationship is dealt with. The thin size of the book however forewarns the reader that it is all bound to end in tears with an abrupt, predictable ending. Nevertheless the fact that the book was written sixty years ago and remains just as pertinent today makes it a minor classic.

I had to read this book for a Literature Course . Quite good for the genre

My first bit of 'naughty' reading - when I was twelve (a thousand years ago). Superb, and still naughty (but nice)!

Very quickly read with only 97 pages. But very good and full of meaning!
