GiovanniStyling Glue Custom Hair Modeler 2 Oz, 3 Pack

I have fine, straight layered hair that needs some product for texturing, and my husband has fine, thick, wavy hair that he wears up and messy. Giovanni Styling Glue is great for both of us. It has a strong hold and dries fast, leaving hair textured but not crunchy, sticky, or greasy. A little bit goes a long way. Nice, light scent, unlike some salon products. With good, clean ingredients that scored high on EWG, this is just what I was looking for and hope they never stop making it!

I am a woman with a short pixie-ish cut, and I often do the "messy hair" thing because it's easy and looks good at my hair length. I've tried a lot of different products similar to this, but this stands out -- it makes your hair kind of tacky (for lack of a better word). Your hair stands up and does what you want, but it's not crunchy or rubbery, and your hair stays a little malleable even toward the end of a 12hour workday.

This stuff is great! I have think black hair and this styling glue gives my hair enough hold for the natural messy look.

I have been using this product for 8 years and this particular shipment appears to have been tampered with. The consistency of the product, and how it sits inside the jar, is vastly different than normal. The volume seems lower and there is a separation of clear liquid from the white product. It seems like the product was diluted with water and it’s much harder to work with than normal because it’s slippery rather than tacky. I have had to pour out the clear liquid and use paper towels to absorb the bit that won’t run out easily, wasting product along the way. I am disappointed and feel the slight savings experienced by purchasing in bulk were negated due to the dilution and corrective action required to make the product usable.

My salon used to carry this line of products and I always got good results with it, so I was disappointed when they stopped carrying it. When I found it on Amazon I was very excited and it worked exactly like I remembered.
