HG1 Liter Painting without Sanding Cleaner

Used this to clean up my handrail on bannister, come up very clean and grime free, ready to be lightly sanded and oiled, great product to help over painting very sticky and grime ridden items, cuts through to help get the perfect foundation for painting or varnishing.

Used on kitchen doors (standard shaker style veneered door from B & Q). Used a mix of 1 part product to 20 parts water and rinsed within a minute. The veneer was lifted from the areas of the joins within 5 minutes. Can only assume it interacted with the glue/mdf of the door where it got into the grooves.Strong stuff! No unpleasant smell, cleaned the door surface well so hard to mark it down just based on this experience, just be aware.

I bought this to do a proper clean after moving into a new property. Soap and water wasn’t working to clear what looks like years of build up. Mixed this solution at approx 1:30 ratio and it’s come up a treat. I also have textured floor and textured cupboards and this got all the grime out of the grooves with a scouring sponge and very little elbow grease was required! I am also asthmatic and some cleaning products irritate my chest but this doesn’t. It actually has a rather pleasant pine smell to it. Absolutely will be buying again!

Easy to use and saved time on a intricate piece of furniture I was restoring. Worth having in the workshop.

Works pretty well as a cleaner, but gloss still needs to be sanded
