Inexpensive and easy to carry
I love this knife. The Grip is very comfortable, I do wish it held an edge a bit longer, but for the price, it's really hard to beat, and it fits in the pocket and deploys well. 95% of the time, I forget I'm carrying it until I need it, and then it deploys in a second. I would buy it again, and I gave it as a gift; it's a great starter knife. For anyone looking for the grind angle, I found it via Google. The AI result says, "The grind angle of a CIVIVI Praxis Flipper Pocket Knife C803F is typically around 18-20 degrees per side; this is considered a standard grind angle for most pocket knives, offering a good balance between sharpness and durability." "...batches may vary."'

Christmas Gift
Bought this as a Christmas gift, but it appears to be a fine when I inspected it. The bearings felt a bit dry, so it takes a little force to open compared to my Civivi knife, even after trying to work in the bearings for some time, so it certainly needs a little oil. The handle though is way more comfortable than what I bought, and the sloped jimping ramp feels perfect for thumb placement. The G10 texturing on this knife has a really nice rubbery grip feeling on the hand as well. This is certainly the most comfortable Civivi knife I ever handled. 9Cr18MoV is supposed to be good with edge retention and corrosion resistance, making this a good budget steel if you work by the beach, and the black finish on the blade protects it further. Green knife handles usually look great, complimenting the blade. The blade is big enough to last a long time, as you can sharpen away lots of the steel and still have a big knife to use. I want one for myself now.

The ergonomic handle fits perfectly in hand
The CIVIVI Praxis Flipper Pocket Knife C803F is a masterpiece of design and functionality. From the moment you hold it, you can tell it’s a premium-quality tool. The blade is razor-sharp right out of the box, and the D2 steel holds its edge beautifully, even with extended use. The flipper mechanism is buttery smooth, making deployment quick and effortless, while the liner lock ensures a secure hold during use.

Good EDC knife just one problem
I had purchased the CIVIVI Praxis Flipper (mini) a few weeks ago, and I really like that pocket knife, although I did end up losing it while at work, I recently purchased this one. Both knives are exactly identical, with the mini just being smaller. So I overall find them to be good quality for a relatively cheap knife. They are pretty well made, and fit good in the hands. I personally had to sharpen them a bit after receiving them, due to the blade being somewhat dull, but overall I think they are good EDC knives, that are good quality, but not overly expensive. My only complaint is that the “spring assist” isn’t as strong as I would like it to be. On both knives, the mini, as well as the regular, both spring assist mechanisms, are not as strong as other knives, you have to really flick the blade out, with the assist, which kind of defeats the purpose of the assist, or just fold it out, like a normal folding pocket knife. I have found that on both knives using the assist, the blade only comes out part way, and you have to manually move the blade to lock it into place. It’s a slight drawback, as in my eyes, it is not really “spring assisted” but none the less, it is still a good knife. I personally don’t know if it is just the knifes I received that did this, or just how they are made, but either way it’s a good knife, and worth buying.

very useful everyday knife
I tend to buy expensive knives...and then lose them. I've had a number of Benchmades, my last over 300 dollars; it lasted six months before I lost it traveling. So, I went looking for less expensive. I am very impressed with the praxis. It's thinner, lighter, and is packaged better than knives six or seven times the price. It opens easily and is perfect for the things I use it for: cutting tape on boxes, opening packages, cooking outdoors. It slices like a good kitchen knife, and I quickly improved the edge out of the box with a standard sharpener And while I haven't lost it (yet), I can buy eight of these for the price of one of the others. It's also aesthetically pleasing, which I appreciate. I don't generally write reviews, but I am that impressed. For the price, really, at any price, you cannot go wrong with this little knife. Will it last twenty years? I'll never know because I'll lose it in one or two! The knife reminds me of my Bertucci field watch: for function and ergonomic comfort, it's worth several times its price.
