Most FUN and USEFUL purchase of the year!
This is amazing. When I take my dog out in the rain,now I'm not juggling the umbrella along with treats, the clicker, and my phone. I bought it thinking it may just be a joke that didnt work, but I'm getting this for everyone next Christmas. And it's handy for embarrassing my daughter during rainy soccer games. If you enjoy convenient ridiculousness, I HIGHLY recommend.

Dangerous for elderly or individuals with mobility challenges
Bought this for my 75yo MIL who uses a walker. Doesn’t stay out even in the lightest of winds. She tends to walk with her head tipped forward watching the ground in front of her for obstacles and this umbrella slipped dangerously over her face obstructing her view then she couldn’t let go of the walker to get the umbrella out of her face. Do not advise for anyone who uses a walker or has difficulty balancing.

Good for kayaking, with caveats
I used this on a 5 day kayaking trip. When there is no wind it is perfect. Not only does it shield from the sun, it also causes the temperature around my head and shoulders to drop perceptibly, and since it was in the 90s, that was a huge bonus. However, any sustained wind makes in impractical as it just won't stay on. Also, I had to adjust my paddling style to a lower arch so not to run into the edges of the umbrella. When weather conditions permit it is a good shield.

Good product
As a mail carrier we deliver in rain or shine. This is good because it frees my hand but i'd have loved the straps to be adjustable. On a windy day tightening the straps would help to keep the umbrella in place.

Pretty good product
Bought 4 of these for our trip to Disney World. They worked well. The only issue is they don’t adjust for smaller/larger heads very well. Could have a better elastic band for easier adjustment.
