It's not vintage or made in the USSR, but it's a good quality item and is original, made on the ОСЗ in Gus-Khrustalny, Russia.

This glass resembles the classic Soviet era glass (granyonyj stakan), but is significantly smaller. It is not suitable for those who are looking for a real replica of the old style Soviet glass of this kind.

Sturdy and handsome
I bought this for my Russian SO, and they loved it. This cup is gorgeous, charming, and excellently made. We pour boiling coffee in there at the start of the day, followed up with ice-cold water, finishing the day with a nice bath in the dishwasher. It takes rough handling with grace. It might survive a nuclear blast. And it's pretty darn cute.By the way, it works great with a "podstakannik", the metal cup holders that you find on Russian trains and elsewhere.
