BunnPour-O-Matic 10-Cup Drip Free Carafe, Black

I needed to buy a replacement carafe for my Bonavita BV1800 8-Cup Coffee Maker. This BUNN carafe is better than the original Bonavita one. It fits perfectly and the lid is well-designed, almost completely eliminating drips, even when pouring the coffee fast.

I purchased this item due to breaking my other one. The actual replacement for my exact bunn coffee pot (a little older) was a much higher price so I gave this one a shot and it’s a perfect fit. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

I really liked the coffee made in this coffee maker. Probably the best I’ve ever had. However after I cleaned it and I did follow the directions to the T , the coffee just didn’t taste right. Then I decided I would run more water through it and still it didn’t taste right. then I had my stepson try to do a taste test and he felt exactly the same way. Neither one of us can really drink anything from this now. So I don’t know what happened and I don’t know if this is something that happens regularly but I would have to say it’s a great great disappointment.

No problem with the seller. However, the product itself is a poor design and is prone to breakage. The cure is not purchasing the Bunn brewer that requires this type decanter. Other Bunn brewers are more durable.

I broke my pot and went to Amazon to get a replacement. This is not the replacement I have been getting for years but a new style with features that are kind of nice. I can’t give it 5 stars because when pouring water into the machine it’s very difficult to get the last bit of water to pour into the coffee maker. Until you try it it’s hard to explain. I truly like the original style better but cannot find one.
