Each garland is about 28 1/2" long, while each hop flower is just a touch over 1 1/2" long.

Q: Why were these totally covered in a terrible smelling white powder

I don't know! I wondered the same thing. Mine have been sitting outside for about a week trying to let them air out. They still stink!
