Very well constructed door lock and well worth the money! Made of heavy duty steel and locks tightly in place.

needs modification to work right
Agree with someone who posted earlier. The Metal is weak. I know this because I also had to modify the design to get the latch to work properly. I am a manager at a distribution center and was hoping this would work for our dock doors. I can already see this breaking from the bolt that latches to the fixed side. I did not want to buy the door deputy but it looks like I am going to have to. Worth a shot.

STAY AWAY!
Poor design. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE COST!!cheap steel too! was surprised how soft it was during modification; and you will absolutely need to modify it if you don't want to walk away swearing every time you have to interact with it.

Overpriced and no instructions or mounting screws
For the price of this device I expected instructions and mounting screws. Does not fit my 10x14 overhead door and was not keen on screwing it to the insulated door in the first place so I returned it.
