Versatile Grill
Was easy enough to assemble and is sturdy. Everything matched up; however, you certainly require plenty of coal for even a regular family grill event. I miss my Santa Maria style grill that could be lowered and raised, but I am satisfied with the versatility and end product that we can all enjoy.

This is like cooking on a campfire, not a barbecue...it takes getting used to!
The drain, it sucks... but not a big deal, just have to keep it cleaned out more...Another review complained of the height of the cooking surface.... go buy a Weber charcoal grate... use rocks or logs to increase the grate’s height when using just charcoal.Same review complained of trying to cook with wood as the grate was too close for that... simple... let the wood burn down. You cook over coals...not the melt your face off flames of hell-o!Buy an insulated glove if you don’t have a 30+ inch spatula....you’ll thank me!

Perfect for large format cooking
This grill is perfect for large Paella pans. It handles my 26’ pan perfectly. It was easy to assemble by myself in about 1/2 hour. You will need help moving it due to size.I would like a little more functionality in raising and lowering cooking grate. The two fixed positions are not that far apart. Finally, for cooking you should use a combination of wood and charcoal. It is a big pit and take a lot of fuel to maintain a cooking fire.I have not had issues with the cooking grate warping as reported by others. It has performed exactly as I had wanted.

Good - but not great
While I like this it could definitely be much better. Here is why:1) The protective tube ring that goes around is not symmetrical. Not even close. It's wavy and each of the 4 sections do not match up flush to the section next to it. This SHOULD be an easy design fix2) While I like the 1-inch increase in grate clearance...I wish I could actually drop it down lower and even higher too. If you're going to cook with coals then you need A LOT of coals to even get the heat high enough to cook the food. If using wood (which I would recommend and prefer) then it gets so hot that you need more height. But you can get around it (when using wood) as you just push the wood around more. This obviously is not the case if you're going to just roast or cook hot dogs or cooking something thin that you want to cook quickly (like carne asada).3) The grate construction is not good. I've cooked on this twice and the grate is absolutely warped. I've used different grates over fire pits throughout the years and I've never had warping like this. It's obviously going to happen due to the heat...but not like this. This is bad. Still usable - just not flat anymore.4) I can't believe this doesn't come with a cover. This is cast iron and thus needs protecting and while you can buy covers out there it still baffles me that they wouldn't include one. But then again, I have a Rivergrille smoker and it didn't come with one either (I use a tarp) so I shouldn't have been surprised. With all that said, it is super easy to put together (I did it by myself - but recommend a partner) and functions well. My complaints are purely cosmetic and convenience...and even the "convenience" complaints (cooking) will, I'm sure, fade over time.

Perfect for charcoal grilling
I got mine as a birthday present from my father for my 17th birthday I love to cook and especially with fire wood and hot rocks... and this makes it easier I see no notable design flaws a nothing that needs to be fixed after twenty plus times of use just don’t lose the water cap not that it’s a problem just it’s pretty easy to

Grill grate rusted through in Two Season
As other's have stated rusted through despite being covered. So disappointed 😞I enjoyed the flavor of ribeyes on this grill using well seasoned hickory wood from our property. And then...grill grate failure!!!

Rusts even though covered lasted 1 season.
This grill rusted after 1 season. I called the company and they told me they would give me a 10% discount to purchase the parts that rusted! Then they said they would give me a 35% discount which would cost me $197.88 to replace their defective metal parts! So basically this grill just became nothing more than a fire pit.Don’t waste your money. The company does not care about their customers. I wouldn’t ever purchase anything from New Legacy Industrial Inc
