NOT nearly as good as original, sad to say! In depth review.
I have been a user of the Breeze system for 5 (sadly now 4) cats for over 2 years and I was looking to economize a bit on a system that I happen to really like a lot. I decided to take a chance on these pads just to see how they compare to the original Breeze products which, in my opinion, are very overpriced but that is big corporate (Purina) for you. Believe me, if I could snip a diaper to fit the tray I would because it would be less expensive though, that said, I averaged out the cost of clumping litter and it was about the same plus far less trash and hassle.Back to the review: these pads fit the tray perfectly and actually a smidge better than the originals which sometimes get bunched up if you slide the tray in too vigorously *squints at family members*. That is about the best thing I can say regarding these pads. What was so disappointing is that despite their near 50% reduced cost factor, they are about 50% as absorbent as the original Breeze pads so it is a price wash with twice as much trash going to the landfill. That is a deal breaker for me. I have experimented with both my 2 1/2 year old sibling pair and my now 1 year old sibling pair (all rescues :D) with these findings:ALL of these cats are on a wet only diet (one had urinary crystals hence the modification away from dry)."Old fogeys"- these two urinate and defecate at normal amounts (one poo each per day and 2-3 urinations each, one male/one female, both altered)Two Breeze boxes in their "bedroom" and I have tried one Breeze and one Kopy Kat pad in each tray then reversed the tray configurations to see what would happen. In each case: Breeze lasted easily over 2x as long, needing changed every 3rd day on average. KK lasted 1-2 days maximum."Young whippersnappers"-these two urinate more but defecate about the same (they are still growing and one has the urinary issue. Urinations average 4-6 per day one cat,3- 4 per day other cat, both neutered males). Breeze- 2-3 days, max. KK-1 day max.Okay, two immediate and major things I noticed were:1. Both pads feel and look similar when dry but the proof is in the absorbency levels.2. Breeze acts like a diaper and has far more absorbency capability. These pads absorb urine not unlike clumping litter- in limited areas and whatever "gel" is inside (I suspect strongly the same material as in a human diaper) it works! Period. It traps urine in the deposited location and swells. It is my habit in the mornings when I "Release the Krakens!" that I always check the tray when I also clean solids and I switch around the tray direction every other day or so as needed to even out the pad useage. BTW, I use a Litter Genie and it is also great. Easy peasy system!KK-acts like a paper towel. These pads absorb urine in a spreading pattern and fill up much more quickly due to this tendency. I find that they don't swell and are pretty much wet versions of the dry pad. Not impressed I am sorry to say! I know without a doubt that these pads can be copied and sold for far cheaper than Breeze but at the moment KK is not a contender in that market. Sad because they could really give Breeze (Purina) a serious run for their money if they care to do so.Another side note:I am experimenting with a couple of hacks:1. Soaking used zeolite pellets in bleach water, drying and reusing. Working well for a few applications and thus stretching the pellet dollars. I have tried finding a source for bulk or wholesale zeolite but no success thus far. Still looking, however.2. Using trash bags and not the overpriced film for the Litter Genie. So far the jury is out. I have to find a strong and leak proof bag. Thin bags let odors and liquids leak.Ultimate:Breeze- Pricey and holds you hostage to what works. Come on someone- give us an alternative!!!KK-half the price but generates minimum 2 x as much trash (NOT cool) and doesn't work nearly as well. Dissapointed!

these are wonderful. I have renal-issued cats
It seems that these pads may be a centimeter shorter than the brand name ones, which you would think would lead to leakage. But somehow it does not! For half the price, these are wonderful. I have renal-issued cats, so I replace the pads daily no matter who makes them. I don't know how they stack up for people who are used to getting multiple days out of the brand name ones.I also appreciate that they are tidily folded into a single, smaller box without additional packaging.Good job, folk!

No savings here!
While these are indeed cheaper, they last less than half as long as 'real' Tidy Cat pads. That in itself would be ok because they are a LOT cheaper but unfortunately the BIG problem is that they do NOT control odor a fraction as well as originals. The urine/ammonia smell is pronounced after a day and a half. I only have one cat so I usually get a week of control from the original pads, while getting only 1 to a max of 2 days from these. Sometimes cheaper ain't better. I'll use these up in the next 20 days or so and go back to original Breeze pads. I wanted to give them only one star (I HATE IT) but hate is such a strong word, so I gave it 2 stars (I DON'T LIKE IT!)!

Use twice as many
If I cannot give 5 stars I don't usually write a review. This time I just couldn't. These are just okay, I was wanting to save some money. I have to use twice as many and they do not control odor (not that they claimed they did). Also have issues with them laying flat enough in tray so it can slide into place. I bought 40, don't think I will buy again.

For my home it isn't a good value if you have to change it more than ...
Not for multi-cat households!!This pad fits well and looks as though it would be a cheaper alternative to the brand of pads but in my household of 2 cats I have to change the pad once every 3-4 days! It cannot hold the smell. I have even had to change the pad with dry spots still left on it because the overwhelming smell of cat urine comes seeping through! Gross! The whole reason I have the breeze system is to avoid the smell of a litter box. For my home it isn't a good value if you have to change it more than twice as often as the brand.

it works out fine, especially since I had trouble getting them locally ...
These pads fit perfectly, but they are thinner than the brand name. Since the price is lower, it works out fine, especially since I had trouble getting them locally because they would frequently be out of stock.

Solid urine collection tool :)
These pads are great! Can't tell much difference between these and the tidy cats brand other than the color. They are marginally smaller compared to the Breeze option, but only by 1/2 to a 1/4 inch in length. I have two cats and change the pad every three days. Same soiled, dirty diaper/chucks as the green pricey guys after use. Give them a try and save a few bucks. Take care fellow cat folk.

Three Stars
Not as good as the original. A tad bit smaller, but they get the job done.
