Prevention Bags
I got what I paid for. I have bought poly bags in the past, but these had a zip lock top. They are very long, thick bags that will hold any gun you have easily. I have put foldable stocks as well as long hunting guns in them and there is plenty of room. If anything, they are to long. Very good bags for the money.

WORKS GREAT
These bags are great for firearms in storage, safe, or just hung on the wall. Cut to fit, or use as is, slid you're firearm into the bag and it's protected from rust. I keep all my firearms in them while there in my safe, even though, I have two (2) humidifiers in the safe. I live in a very humid area, and want take any chances of rust getting in and/or on my firearms. To me it's sacrilegious to have a rusty rifle, pistol, shotgun, or a knife, especially, with the calibre, and different types of lubs and preservatives that are available today.

I’ll know more in 5 Years!
Like most long term storage items, a real review can’t be given until AFTER a long term. However, the bags were well priced, sturdy, and sealed well. The zip closure was positive and all seams held well...not flimsy like today’s food storage bags.

Seems like a VCI bag...could be thicker. Use for less permanent storage.
First off - I have no real way to tell if its actually a VCI bag or not, so I'm just going to take it on faith - as it seems VCI is pretty common these days.I have used ZCORR bags in the past (they are some other name now). Those bags were SUPER thick - and I felt like they were for LONG TERM storage. I use these for the guns I use more often. They are cheap, and more disposable to me.The zip lock seal on these is really really good. Its funny - its a single zip, and seals 10x better than my old ZCORR bags that had like 8 seals on them... <shrug>My main complaint is that they need to be thicker (I have read they are 4mil). If these are marketed for gun use (guns, mags, etc), they need to be able to handle all the sharp corners that come with the territory. They didn't outright rip - but the plastic seems to dimple and deform quite easily. Now I know with the chemical inside, it shouldn't matter - but I'd like for it to be as "sealed off" from the outside as possible - and such a thin plastic does not make me confident. If I could get something in between this and my old ZCORR bags (which were SUPER SUPER thick) I'd be very happy.

Great for storage
Keeps metallic items free from corrosion. It works if sealed well. Squeeze out extra air and seal very well.

So far so good after 1.5 years!
I was hesitant to write a review until some time had pasted. After 1.5 years in storage, my rifles show no sign of rust. I cleaned the guns up real good and wiped them down with a very thin layer of quality gun oil. I added a few of the moisture absorbing packs to each bag when I put the guns in them. Everything looks great. I'll update again in another year!
