Pure and clean harmonics! I’ve just replaced a set of Hannabach strings on my 1970 Yairi Gakki Model 700 and I’m feeling a bit delirious right now… OMG what a difference a set of strings can make! I have 9 classic guitars , two of which I use for recording. I’ve now got these strings on both of them and unless someone can convince me there’s something better out there (at this kind of price) I’m gonna be married to these strings forever. Hallelujah! 😌

J'ai monté ce jeux de cordes sur une Takamine EP-50 ( electro acoustique avec une bonne caisse pour jouer sans ampli le plus souvent et prévue pour cordes nylon).J'avais l'habitude des cordes Savarez depuis très longtemps et j'en était déjà très satisfait.Mais là, quel son !Des harmoniques de guitare folk avec cordes métaliques ( alors que nous sommes bien ici sur du nylon ou quelque chose qui y ressemble) sont venues remplir ma caisse, un peu de métal et de brillance sur les graves , les cordes si et mi aiguës sont plus brillantes aussi. Le sol est un peu en retrait au niveau éclat mais un meilleur guitariste que moi saurait en tirer un bénéfice certainement.Un peu plus de tension sous les doigts, les virages dans les arpèges et les gammes sont un peu plus serrés mais ça tombe bien, j'avais besoin d'exercice. Les erreurs se font plus entendre... et quand c'est bien on a l'impression vraiment de mieux jouer et avec une nouvelle guitare. Je recommande d'essayer ... et pourquoi pas l'adopter.

I'll start with what I like about these strings. The strings wound in metal reach note stability really really quickly. The tension is just right for me. It has an easy action while not feeling sloppy under the fingers. Also the strings are very nice to play with nails, just gliding.The low E string comes with less wire around the lower part making stringing up easier (see in picture 2)The sound quality it very nice (although the G string isn't my favourite). The lower notes have a nice sizzle to the and nice 'n' sweet on the upper strings. Very balanced sound.Things I'm not so keen on!! Apart from the low E string, these strings are a pain to string up. Like slippery eels! The G string can sound a bit tubby sometimes (although that common with most strings). The upper 3 strings take a while to settle. So if you're playing a concert, string up with plenty of time to break them in.Over all they're great strings. Takes some time to set up but it's worth it in my opinion
