My mother, age 98, enjoyed your book because my father was in World War ll
I purchased this book because I knew my mom would love the story and connect to some of what was shared. My father passed away in 2011, and this was a tool to help her remember and reconnect to some of what has long since passed. "Thank you for your service," is what my mom says when we think of sacrifices made by so many. Easy read. PJ Zito

interesting but. ….
Interesting but I agree with another reviewer that spell check/grammar/missing words could have been used. The only real annoyance was that you couldn’t see the photos enlarged.

Good Story of a WWII "Hump" Pilot
This is a first person account of his time as a pilot in the China / Burma theater of operations, flying supply missions in Sinson L-5 and Boeing C-47 aircraft. There were chapters on when he crash landed or bailed out. Although not a really long book or slickly edited, it was an excellent read. Highly recommended.

A great, engaging, and informative book
History really comes alive here. I thoroughly enjoyed this book for both the history - a lot of which I had previously known little about - and the way it was written. You feel like you’re sitting across from a friend listening to his adventures. I passed the book on to my wife and she really liked it too. Highly recommend.

Nice bit of history, plain spoken
I'm kind of a student of the war in the CBI theater. This story was a nice one detailing flying in the S China sector. I like the plain language in which the story is told.

Editing problems
When the description of the book on Amazon is so full of typos that you know the author couldn't be bothered to even run it through a simple spellcj3ck,, that should bee a pruunlum whene you reed the bulk. And eet eyes. A prunluum. Er... problem. If you're going to self publish, at least edit the book and the book's description. If you don't know grammar, for the love of God, have someone who does know grammar go through it with a fine toothed comb. And then again, then again, until there are no grammar and spelling problems. That's what professional publishers do.I worry that when quality is so ignored, great stories of heroism like this one will be ignored. And it is an excellent story that certainly deserves to be known! We need more people like this, and more stories about such people, because we have become a whiny society that pouts and takes offense at everything, but there is precious little heroism and mettle like the people of the greatest generation took as a given.I WASZ RIVETED by the story, which is why I think it deserves tender loving care!Fix the description and spelling mistakes because this book is worth it. Even though I complained about lazy editing, I would still recommend reading this book!
