Beautiful but the Music Box Doesn’t Work
The music box is beautiful! The wood inlay with flowers is gorgeous against the dark cherry wood, and the gold tone feet are a classy accent. The inside of the box is a nice size jewelry box with a glass place for rings and three separated compartments for necklaces, bracelets, etc. As much as I appreciate the appearance, I will be returning it. The music box lever to play the music sticks in the off position and will not play when opened. I tried several times to get the pin to loosen up, but it just kept sticking. What’s worse is this was a Mother’s Day gift for my out of town Mom. My plan was to give it to her when she arrived, but now I am rushing last minute to get something different. It would have been a beautiful gift if it would have worked correctly. Shame…

A lovely gift for my daughter-in-law
I have always wanted a music box made by the San Francisco Music Co. so I decided to gift my D I L with one. This one is so nice and I hope she will enjoy it for years to come. Well crafted and the music is just great.

Initially, pull up on lid switch pin.
Initially, did not play music after a couple of turns winding up the spring.Pulled up on switch pin and worked up/down a couple of times - works great.
