Great product!
I've only had 2 shifts since i bought Slip Grip and i am sold! I am a server at a high volume restaurant in Vegas-our uniform requires us to wear Chuck Taylors-not only are these usually uncomfortable but great for a game of Slip n' Slide...every step in the kitchen was carefully placed while truing to move at a restaurant pace. I will absolutely continue to use this product-while they are not 100% slip proof in the kitchen, this spray makes my Chuck Taylor soles feel like Shoes for Crews (which are about as slip proof as you can get in a kitchen). Highly reccomend this product-i live in a desert and so will never know how well it works against ice of snow, I also spend very little time on a boat...nut in my opinion if it is good enough for a kitchen, i think it will work great for the advertised uses. :)

This was a pretty disappointing product
This was a pretty disappointing product. I really wanted it to work but it ended up not working at all. Maybe I used it wrong. I work at Starbucks and the floor gets pretty wet. I sprayed this stuff on my shoes but it just made my shoes sticky. Then it wore off and I am still slipping around. It only took a day or so for the stickiness to wear off. I wouldn't recommend.

It's ok.
I think this product would have worked if I didn't go stomping through the grass and dirt. It seemed to keep me from sliding around in the beginning when I still had the glue on my shoes. I work at a veterinary clinic, so I both indoors and out doors. I will say that the glue after it dried for 2 days was still sticky and picked up rocks and a couple of big sticks. I can see where it would keep one from slipping. I do have to say that walking around can be annoying because my shoes made a constant squeaking-crunching sound. After a while I started laughing though. Anyone that is going to try this spray I will warn you ahead of time. Wrap your shoes in some sort of plastic, old shirt, old towel or something. Leave the bottom exposed, obviously. I'd wear gloves and a clothes that you don't mind getting glue on because it can be quite a messy job. You might even rig up something to sit your wrapped up shoes on so that you don't have to wear hold them and end up with glue all over you. Give your shoes a couple of days to dry.

Didn't work as advertised
Did not work. Stayed sticky even after waiting the time instructed on the can. Waited over 24 hrs for 1 pair still sticky. After the need to walk on gravel and it all stuck to the shoes making the slippery and uneven until I removed all the gravel.

Did not work as we had hoped (to make our sons shoes less slippery on the stage). Made the shoe bottoms sticky, but everything he walked on added to the bottoms which in turn made them slippery again after 1 use.

Good for other uses
I often have to walk through an industrial kitchen where the floor can become wet or slippery with food. I am in the sales dept so my shoes are not the ones required for the kitchen. The shoe grip pads did not work for me because they wore down and became slippery again or they did not cover enough of my shoe to make it safe. I thought I would give the shoe grip spray for ice and snow a try and it worked wonderful for me! I have sprayed all my shoes. I only gave 4 stars because of the price

Works
Bought to use on shoes that I use on my treadmill to give more grip. This actually worked very well. Just be sure to let it dry thoroughly before use.
