This was a massive improvement over using an awl. You just dip the pen, wipe off the excess, roll the edge paint on. I’m able to finish edges probably 10x as fast without any drips or anything.Just be careful not to get paint on the axle, and always rinse it immediately after use while the paint is still wet.I’ve been using mine for almost a year now and it still spins freely.

I’ve watched YouTube videos using this type of tool and they say don’t buy the cheap ones. Invest in a good one. We’ll this one was more that the plethora of $8 options but less than the $30+ options so I thought I’d give it a try. I think Tandy slapped a name on the $8 option, doubled the price and put it out there. It’s junk. It rolls on occasion. Like the people on youtube say, don’t waste your time or money on the cheap options. They don’t work well or consistently enough to bother with.
