Beautiful knife for small hands
Absolutely wonderful to hold. This is a beautifully weighted piece, a joy to hold in your hands. I have small, wide hands and this feels like a dream in them. Perfectly weighted, with a beautiful and comfortable handle that cleans easily and gives just enough grip to keep it secure when not too goop-y. If you're doing really messy tasks with wet hands this might not be enough of a grip for you, but personally I like metal and other smooth surfaces over grippier rubber or silicone. Looks prettier and I feel like it stays nicer for longer. Comes sharp but not razor sharp. For that you'll have to break out your sharpening stones, but whyever would you want to pack and ship a knife razor sharp??? You need stones to maintain a decent edge anyway, so you might as well have some around. Anyway, it's still sharp enough to use right out of the box, so w/e.Ships with a tip protector, in a lovely box. Good for someone who wants a nice kitchen knife that is *practical* but still a joy to use and decent to look at. Nice, without getting crazy on the price. Pretty and comfortable with a good edge, but not so crazy that if you mess it up somehow you're out a grand. And not so delicate that it needs oiling all the time, or so brittle that the slightest fumble breaks off chips. All's good with it so far, and it's feeling like a real steal for the price. Haven't managed to break it yet and I'm rough on knifes (I'm not great at knife skills, and tend to be clumsy). If I manage to keep this in good shape with time, I might end up getting a whole set, or at least a chef knife 🤔

It can cut & it will KEEL!
Be very careful with this Knife. I have almost and actually cut myself accidentally many times (due to the narrow location of where I have prepped & my general slippery floor). Since those times I have changed my prep location to avoid injury… this thing is so sharp! I have many knives but these are my go to, I really don’t need to use any other knives in the kitchen because they are perfect. Note my only issue is that I need to buy a good sharpening stone because these are much better quality then many knives sold with knife blocks. I purchased a mandolin recently but after using these knives I realize that I don’t really need to use it as I can get fine cuts with these knives

Excellent Serrated Bread Knife. For once, performance equals/exceeds aesthetics!
To preface, I am a professional Home and Personal Chef and teach cooking skills. Knives for me are essential tools in my culinary activities, and I am picky and critical. I have tested and reviewed MANY knives here on Amazon and elsewhere. I will praise those that deserve it and be highly critical of those that don't. What is most important to me is the knives I use are for "cooking”…not "looking". Performance, construction, and ergonomics are the key metrics over aesthetics for honest, critical reviewing. This 8" Serrated Bread Knife from Sunnecko is a difficult review for me. Primarily, I am most interested in performance, and I could really care less about Aesthetics. This IS a beautiful knife, with an attractive Pakkawood handle, nice presentation box, and pretty rivets from its full-tang construction. Normally, this would make the knife suspect about performance, often being more for "looking", than for "cooking".Having said that, I have been very impressed by the performance metrics that I test knives for, and I am surprisingly pleased to give it a positive review. Here's why:* The knife is full-tang and the handle is well-riveted for security.* The bolster has a gentle curve that makes it very comfortable for use by those who use a pinch grip when using knives. No hard edges that can be uncomfortable for long use.* Balance of the knife is appropriately at the bolster which makes it pleasant to use. Not front heavy.* The steel used is excellent for this type of knife, and the edge is razor sharp out of the box.* While called a "bread knife", serrated knives like this are outstanding for slicing soft-skinned vegetables like tomatoes...allowing a very clean starting cut. This knife performs those tasks exceedingly well.* The Pakkawood handle is ergonomic and comfortable in hand. An occasional wiping with a food-safe Butcher Block Oil will keep the handle in perfect shape. What I don't care about:* The indents at the top of the blade are more for aesthetics than for a purpose. On Chef's knives and Santoku knives, indents like this are generally for assisting in keeping food from sticking to the blade while slicing. A bread knife does not need that function, so it seems to me to be an unnecessary addition but does not inhibit knife functioning as designed.* The nice wood presentation box is beautiful, but cooks are not going to keep a frequently used knife in a box. Overkill. That being said, it makes for a great gift if that is the purpose of purchase.* 8 inches is on the shorter side of available bread knives. I personally prefer 10" for multiple-use serrated knives. My final verdict is a surprise Five Star rating due to performance and construction over aesthetics. Reasonably priced and a great deal if there is a coupon, I can honestly recommend this bread knife for home kitchens where it will not only perform very well but look good too if that is a metric for you. Nice knife overall! Bon Appetit!*If you found my review helpful to you, please let Amazon know by clicking the "HELPFUL" button below!

Extremely Sharp Chef Knife!
I accidentally know Sunnecko from a knife-testing website and regarding its price and as a big fan of German steel and hollow edge, I wanna give it a try. And now the knife has been my daily partner in the kitchen for over a year. I would never leave a review until I use them for a period of time especially when the product is a kitchen knife.I gotta thumb up for its sharpness and edge retention. After using this knife for a year, it is still sharp as it was out of the box, which is impressive. It performs super well in slicing, chopping and push cutting. My wife and I love cooking, and both of us find it quite effortless to portion anything in any size with this Chef's knife. Sometimes you will feel like you are cutting a hot butter instead of a beef. This is the first knife with pakkawood handle that I ve ever had. I looked up online what a pakkawood is before buying this, and pakkawood is an engineered wood that makes for a strong and ultra-durable material. The knife handle looks quite vintage as it seems to be made of "real wood". However, it is not. The pakkawood is more durable but share the same look of real wood. I always focus on the durability of the blade and handle material of a knife as I want my knife can be used for dozens of years.Anyway, if you are still wondering to buy it or not, I would say this chef knife is a must-have in your kitchen.

One of the best knives
One of the best knives I've ever used. This is my second knife from this company. They are beautiful, sharp and comfortable. I highly recommend them.
