Someone that fights for you, that doesn't give up, that loves you unconditionally, everyone deserves a Beau!!So many emotions I felt like I was in the story.This book is so beautifully written you feel like you are in the story itsself and going through the emotions the characters are going through. There were So many moments where I wanted to fight for Melanie, I wanted to cry with her and laugh with her and just be there for her.Even the moments she went through it experienced myself and it really hit ne close to home.Not many books have made me put it down and take a minute to figure out my feelings but this one did.I laughed, I sobbed, I gasped out loud. This book literally has everything I want in a book.All the emotions plus steam!!I loved eveything about this book, the characters, the twisty story line, the love.I cannot wait to real more from T.L Drake!! Bravo!!

It takes a skillful writer to show the dangers of an abusive relationship, and even more skills to build a heroine that has strength and vulnerability, fire and compassion. I seriously want to be friends with Doc. And Beau Montgomery...wowza. So much detail went into creating this story of love, betrayal, and fighting for a new love that I fear my review can't do it justice. Just read it. You won't be disappointed.

I choose 5 stars because this book reminded me that. Love is strong, love is forgiving. Family is the 1 thing that means everything. Oh & the romance is a bonus..lol lovevya Teresa

This book was an emotional and hot love story that came out of several necessary tragic and almost tragic events that all leads up to a happily ever after.

I started this book this morning and could not but it down. Melanie was a successful doctor who is engaged to another doctor. Their relationship is not what she thought it would be. She meets Beau when he brings his Grandpa in to see her. When she ends up sharing her sandwich with his Grandfather Beau fell for her. Her fiancé breaks her and she does the only thing she can think of and she calls Beau. Once Beau sees her he goes into protective mode. While they find their way together they have a lot to over come. Beau is from a small town and here is the thing small towns always have pasts. Beau and Melanie fight to have their forever. This book was amazing and I highly recommend this book

The h is a doctor, engaged to another doctor. Things are not going so well for the doctors. During an appointment, the h meets the H. While life is tossing her around, she tries to find her grounding point. Drama, drama, and more drama happens. Outside forces do their best to derail the H and h, for a while they get the job done. A person who feels quilt about what had happened, steps forward to shine some light and truth upon all the drama.The book is okay, slow and repetitive in spots. There is an HEA.
