Nice hub, poor info
Here is the only major problem with this hub. It's a crap shoot with whatever computer/pc/input connector it may have when received. We need these to have a Mini USB pc connector, not a Micro USB pc connector that a few arrived with over this years worth of orders placed. With the proper connector, our needs are met and it functions well. When Office Depot (Mfgr/maker) is queried about this, a huge waste of time ensued as to the part number to secure only the desired device. To date and about 20 or so emails later, no resolution has been reached. So I will toss the dice when placing another order for them. I actually find the hub well laid out and a good fit for the equipment used in, just sticks on the USB pc connector type employed

Excellent Product!!
This is my second one. Nothing wrong with my first one that I purchased 4 years ago. This is an additional one to use on my wife’s iPad Pro. We hook this up to an adapter for it and it allows us to have 7 ports that you can use to hook up usb drives to save your work, a wireless mouse using a USB adapter. Self powered or you can use the AC adapter that comes with it. I keep everything that I use for my iPad Pro such as this hub, a wireless mouse, the USB adapter and cable in the included pouch. Then just simply throw it in my backpack and I’m good to go. This is definitely a durable long lasting device that you can count on!

It works
Works fine. Had to provide a micro usb cable but I had a bunch of those already. It does the job without issue.

Works mostly, but poor port layout & weak power.
I received one of these as a gift about five years ago. As a hub for low-power devices like flash storage it does work. It does *not* always play well when spinning-up external 2.5" hard drives, even when using the hub's supposedly 2.6A AC adapter.I can live with that, but the port layout is absolutely awful. The PC connector, power connector, and five (70%) of the seven USB ports are all on the same side of the hub. On top of that, the PC and power connectors are on opposite ends, so at least one of them will be in the way of those five ports.Since someone mentioned it, mine came with a mini USB connector.

Appears to work well.
Appears to work well as replacement for failing OLD Belkin 7 port 2.0 usb powered hub. Tested with hard disk, logitech 910 video camera, logitech wireless keyboard, and LG 22c cell phone downloads. Belkin failing with cell phone downloads. Belkin retired but not discarded.
