Q: Once it is attached to the ceiling, will it swing?

It swings, but stays put. I think it works well installed with shower curtain track. Wish I could insert pick. I love the divider. Bought two.

Q: What color is dq-large?

It is a realistically looking dark redwood, i.e. the redwood tree. These are really nice. Much bigger than I was thinking (15"x15"). The color number on Amazon refers to the cutout design not the actual color. There are PVC painted to look like real wood. They did a good job. Beware Lchen had 2 shipping locations on in the U.S. (Chicago I think) and the other is Japan where they are home based or maybe China. If Chicago is out they ship from The overseas location. One uses UPS and the other uses the U.S. post office. The latter of which is extremely slow). Arrived in excellent condition both ways.

Q: Are these solid wood or laminated wood? And are they finished on the sides?

This redwood screen panel is high density wood fiber and nature wood veneer.the weight of each screen panel is around 0.9lb,so the quality is very solid.I hope the information was helpful.Thanks.
