Love this sawyer water filter set. Really easy to use. Comes with 2 straws, 2 squeezable bag with twist caps and a mesh bag to keep everything together. The squeezable bags are tough to use (to fill from a stream). So I replaced them with another bag that has a larger opening. The filters connect to a regular water bottle twist caps (Poland spring/smart water bottle).Arrows on the side make it helpful to understand which way the filtered water should flow. No after taste or weird flavor so you can really get the cool “spring water” taste of a mountain spring.It also comes with cleaning syringes to reverse out any debris that gets stuck in the filter. These should last a relatively long time if taken care of.Definitely recommend adding to your hiking kit. Great value for two filters.

El filtro funciona de maravilla llevo 2 meses usándolo y cumple con su función es una maravilla poder tener agua potable en prácticamente cualquier lugar.

Why anyone would buy a "LifeStraw" when they could have one of these is beyond me. They filter at a much finer level, do 100,000 gallons (WAY more than the lifestraw), and are WAAAAY more versatile, with the extra attachments, bags etc.Why do I love this unit:1) it has a very, very, micro fine filter, that truly filters water so that it is safe to drink.2) unit is very small, super lightweight, easy to pack, and durable.3) there is no way I will ever use it enough to exceed the 100,000 gallons maximum.4) there are lots of attachments that can be added for versatility.5) really inexpensive.6) super easy to care for; just back flush and you are done.What I don't like is everyone LOVES my Sawyer, and I keep giving them away; I just can't stand seeing someone going hiking or traveling remotely without the ability to make safe drinking water! So I keep having to buy more, as I keep an "emergency" one in each vehicle, in each "go bag", in the aircraft, and in every building we frequent (house, shop, hanger...); plus we have our "take away" ones for when we go hiking and camping.If you are comparing this to other units, really take a look at the specs: how fine is the filter, for how many gallons is it good for, and how easy is it to use and pack. Don't just get the one your buddy has or is more well known. Trust me, this is the best one.

Ein wirklich gutes Produkt. Sehr gut hat mir die Handlichkeit gefallen. Es ist einfach in der Benutzung und nimmt wenig Platz ein. Es ist ideal für Unterwegs. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.

I flushed the filters with 10 litres each, and then drank soft drinks through it. It successfully filtered the fluid into normal clean water. I then backflushed the filters until they are reasonbly cleaned. Product works fineSubsequently when I re-ordered another 4 water filters, 1 of them was defective and did not came with the cap. This is rather unhygienic as it means that dirt can quite easily get into the mouthpiece, when the entire premise of the product is to have clean water.
