The pictures make it appear small... But its sticks out over a foot from the rail perfect for hanging heavy Medium size pots... very well made... Not crooked... Very strong... looks like it was built to last a lifetime... I am very happy... I have ordered 2 and I am ordering 4 more... :) Perfect for a 2 inch rail... needs about 12 inches of railing for the mounting and bottom half... the top half sticks out about 13 inches... :)

I happened to find this when looking for a way to hang my chimes on my composite deck railing. The last hanger tore up some of the railing when the screw rusted and pulled out. Cannot wait for spring to try this baby out! I bought another model which is longer for those really long chimes. Very well made!

well built and sturdy. Could hold a very heavy plant. I keep a hummingbird feeder hanging from mine. Attaches very easy to your post or fence.
