This was one of those rare buys, when after you receive it you realize that everything about it it's just simply perfect.I originally purchased it for one of our nieces that's going to be turning 11 next month. But when the kids came down over the weekend to hang out on a large property enjoy the good weather, they got into a stash of my hidden treasures and found the loom set.Well I couldn't very well make Vanessa "who's birthday it was going to be the gift for." and all of the other cousins wait. So I decided you know what, I'll just give it to all of them now and they can all play with it.that ended up being a great decision because I'll tell you what those kids had a blast and it kept them entertained hours and that's an understatement because I believe it would have kept them entertained for days if they hadn't had to go home.We all decided to let the loom kit stay here so the kids " not just the girls but some of the boys were in on it too," have something nice to play with while they're here.I noticed a few interestingthings about this particular toy, that you don't find with all toys.It can be played with and enjoyed with a group of children and equally played with and enjoyed buy a solo child.It aids in the development of patience for the children/child.It helps children work in their fine motor skills.AIDS in the development of visualizing, spatially assessing and planning/designEnhances children's ability to to work together on a single project.In addition one thing I thought was very important was that it was teaching persistence, which is an exceptionally valuable tool and all of our lives.Now I'm not saying that this toy will change the world, but what I am saying is this:I just don't think anybody can go wrong buying this toy as a gift for either their own children, or somebody else's.The kids all seem to love it, it comes in a beautiful very sturdy case to keep all the different colors and rubber bands separate so it's very organized. It look like a lot of fun even to me. If I hadn't been so busy preparing dinner and cleaning up and doing boring stuff I imagine I would have been on the ground playding with it too!There really isn't anything I can constructively criticize about it. I mean for the price you can't beat it and it was a beautiful set which the kids loved. Oh okay, you know what? I do have one complaint ... why didn't they have this when I was a kid...

The rubber bands come in cool colors and are fine if you want to do simple bracelets. If you want to do more complex bracelets, these rubber bands will snap, and have obvious attachment points that make the rubber bands not round. In addition, they seem to dry up and fall apart over short periods of time. The picture attached shows a pretty standard bracelet that began to deteriorate within a week. This has happened to all different colors and to all of the bands. Keep this in mind when buying.

This is great for kids who love to do rainbow looms it comes in a cute box filled with all the different looms and accessories giving them the option to create so much my daughter loved this as her birthday gift totally recommend only thing we didn't like was the number stickers maybe take that away and add more charms but yes definitely recommend

This is the perfect kit for a crafty kid! SO many color options and so many extra bonus materials to really make some fun bands! The case is very nice and as someone that gets recruited to help find the right colors for her patterned bands, this will really come in handy! I only wish it came with the hook tool, so make sure whoever get this already has the loom and hook!

I bought this as a present for my daughter of 9. She really likes it, especially the different compartments with different color each. She was really surprised when she saw the golden colored bands. It is her first time seeing that color of bands. She is pretty content and enjoys these bands the fullest.
