Hi Jill, I completely understand your concern, the fragrance we use in this soap is a higher quality fragrance that is free of phthalates and free of synthetic nitro musk. However it is still a fragrance and does not contain any essential oils. We have considered to discontinue this soap but we have quite a few customers that have requsted us to continue to make this soap.I hope this answers your question.
