Not exactly the same fit as a stock one for 2000 Golf.
Did not fit my 2000 Golf. I had to cut the back plastic out of the way so it would slide all the way back into place. It seems pretty flimsy too. I also would not trust anything very heavy in them either. Small beverages only.

Perfect for my projectUpdate: 5/1/2020 after purchasing many of these over the last few months for a cupholder project I build the last couple came in without the VW Audi logo on them and a noticeable difference in quality. They seem to be thicker and don’t open as easily as the previous ones I’ve purchasesd.
