Ashleighnicolearts Artist Quality Colored Pencils with Super Long Lasting Woodless Design for Adult Coloring Drawing and Sketching (12, Graphite-Charcoal)

This is honestly the best art supply product I have ever bought, (and being a Fine Arts major, I have bought my fair share of products). The pencils are well made, they don't smudge on your hand and can provide excellent detail. If your looking for SUPER dark charcoal then buy vine charcoal. This product comes in its own tube case and NO tips were broken whatsoever. Amazing! The box they packaged it in was extremely asthetically pleasing. The company e-mailed me to ensure the product came unbroken and cited some FAQ. They didn't put pressure to write a review, it feels like they genuinely care about the artist's work rather than babble. Long story short: The description and pictures don't give the product nearly enough credit.

Nice high quality pencils, I would DEFINITELY buy the Ashleigh Nicole Arts Woodless Graphite and Charcoal Sketching Set again. I should also add that I wasn't paid for my review, I paid full price on my purchase.After trying several graphite and charcoal pencils I find I can do either small details or wider areas quicker, because I can make use of the full pencil and not just the small tip. My problem with charcoal pencils is no matter how you try to sharpen them, theirs always parts of it that gets wasted because theirs always charcoal in the pencil somewhere that's broken. Pencils that can't be used because of broken lead/charcoal is a waste of money, whereas with these I can make use of the ENTIRE pencil.

They work well but be carful using them - one broke from my grip - but they are great otherwise

Pencils are so cool and light. they are very good for the price. they look so slick and professional to me. i did however have some problem since the tip of 3 pencils were broken but i wrote back to the company and they said they would replace it. i do recommend this product but just be aware that the tips are fragile so don't be disappointed when you receive a chipped pencil tip. just inform the company and see if they can help you. i will be updating further on to see if this company is legit.

Narrower than I expected

I bought this set for the graphite as charcoal is nails on a chalkboard to me and I can't touch the stuff. Even without the three charcoal pencils(which I'll give away) this set is well worth the value. The graphite is surprisingly strong and can be sharpened to a crisp point without without chipping or developing little pores. But what really won me over, and compelled me to write this review, was the packaging. The seller essentially vacuum sealed the case in bubble wrap before putting it in its box. While this did make it hard to unpackage, it also made me confident that if need be, it can survive a bomb blast, or at least make it to my apartment without any of the points snapping. Needles to say, this bit of extra care went a long way!

*update*The French grey pencil from my 36 ct set also snapped while coloring in a tree I was drawing. I'm very concerned if they are so easily broken! :(I am now scared to use the rest in case they break also*end of update*:( the 10B pencil from the graphite set snapped right in half as I was drawing my tree. I wish it had not happened as I had very high hopes for this product..... Maybe a fluke, but beware!

Package just came today ..only for my daughter to tell me one of the pencils came broken into 3 pieces! Extremely unhappy
