i love this clock! it has a magnetic face for easy removal when changing batteries. i love that it serves a purpose for two rooms. very easy to read and is very quiet. hanging it was very easy. comes with a nifty plate you install and then the clock just hangs from that. i had to order this clock twice. not sure why but it got returned first time. second time around it arrived fairly quick. maybe it never left.. who knows. but i would buy this clock again for sure.

the standalone 2 face clocks are of decent quality- both having metal framing, simple thin metal hour/minute hands, and glass face- however, the improvement could be had on the housing of where the 2 clocks attach. It feels like a cheaper plastic rim (albeit, substantially built, considering its function), but i would have loved to have seen an overall metal housing, since the back plate that mounts to the wall is already metal anyway. The 2 clocks attach to the housing via 4 "cornered" placed circular magnets, strong enough that a light bump of someone taller would not dislodge the clocks. the mechanism itself was, at first, okay, but as the room quieted and i heard the ticking, it began to annoy me. but, that is not a fault of the clock itself. i had to really work to get the batteries (1 AA) placed in at the same time so that the ticking aligned with each other- else i had, what sounded like a murmured heartbeat, ie. tick (1st clock) tick (2nd clock), tock (1st clock) tock (2nd clock). other than those points, the battery mechanism both had covers, so that was nice to see. my plastic framing came with a scuff, but that's not all to visible once the clock is mounted high, so no big deal.wall mounting- surprised to see the setup on this one. the clock comes with a square metal plate that has 4 cornered small knobs that function the same way a screw into the wall, leaving an 1/8 inch exposed, so that the clock could hang on it. instead, the plate with the knobs is screwed on the wall, and the clock is then mounted onto the plate. not bad considering that i prefer the extra support since the clock is basically unevenly weighted where the 2 faces are held.overall a decent railroad clock- i'm not sure if i'd pay near $100 for it again, but certainly worth more then the current $20ish mostly plastic one otherwise available at the unnamed swedish furniture store.ah, the face size is also very nice! upon walking into the house and looking up the stairs, one can certainly discern the modern simplicity of this one!

The media could not be loaded. Update:We’ve have this up and installed for less than a month. While it looks sleek and keeps time well, both faces of the clock are held on by 4 tiny magnets (see photo). While changing the battery (and carefully) the opposite face of the clock fell off. It hit the ground (we didn’t expect it to pop off) and completely broke. This is a really bad design. I am going to reach out to the company and will update my review if I hear back from them.Love the look of this. I bought this one to replace a more intricate version of it I had before. It’s beautiful and works wonderfully, however mounting it was tricky because of the weight of the clock and the mount only being one arm. My husband had to place pieces of wood underneath the bottom of the arm in order to get the clock to sit level. Without doing this the clock would sag.Other than that, it keeps time beautifully, was packaged well so it came undamaged and looks great on the wall.

Clock fell down from the wall on its own. Might want to add additional support. Good clock otherwise.

The clocks are metal but the housing is plastic. The weight of the clocks is too much for the housing and it leaned down for about a month and a half before the housing snapped and the clocks fell off the wall.

Looks very good but was broken at the mounting bracket on both order received. Might be something wrong with the way they package the clock with the mounting foot facing the bottom of the box. Might not be handle with all the care it should be. This clock would have been perfect but after receiving two(2) damaged one we did not want to take anymore chances ordering another one with the same result.

Not made well, didn’t assemble properly because the metal wasn’t consistent in sizing and was bent. I was able to bend and make work, but definitely not worth the price. Terrible quality.
