Schrade went bankrupt around 2004. The company's trademarks and brand names were bought by Taylor Brands LLC. Since that time, all Schrade, Old Timer, Uncle Henry, etc., knives have been made in China. Some sources indicate Taylor had some knives made in the USA at one point but all the currently available knives are from China. I've bought several of these knives and they are really very good knives, better than expected for the prices.

The knife closed is 4-7/8" long large blade 3", smaller blades 2-1/2" and 2-1/4" long, I would say Large, really nice knife, I have had several.
