Dont waste the money.
Its a cut up shower curtain with upholstery pins. Very disappointed. Returned. Went to local box store bought heavy duty clear shower curtain. Stopped at ACE hardware bought a package of upholstery pins. Able to protect corners of all furniture in living room for half the price of one set of these.

good idea and design
good idea and design, but way overpriced. I can get 2 yards of clear vinyl fabric from fabric.com with the price of two small pieces of scratching guard sold here. since I need a lot of them and don't want to spend a lot on these, I am returning them and about to DIY them.

You Might Get Good Pins or Crappy Ones -- Beware of the Crappy Ones
I ordered a set of these in last month and they were easy to install. The pins screwed in easily and fully on both hard and soft parts of the sofa. I just ordered another set and the pins that came with it are different. They don't screw in easily or fully, and basically do not work. They have a thinner, longer metal spiral with a different shape compared to the previous pins. If I had received this in first order I would have rated it as low as possible and sent it back as defective. The Furniture Defender company's phone number was on a sheet included with the product. I called them and they are mailing me a new set of pins today. The person I spoke to was awesome and understood immediately that the pins could be a problem, and was concerned. I'll update the review if for some reason I don't get the replacement pins or there is any further problem. And if I do, I will update it to 5 stars!

DEMON PROTECTOR
My cat is part feline part demon and every exposed corner of my EXPENSIVE couch will be clawed till I cry. I've tried everything - no spray worked and I bought cheap plastic corner folders to try. Nothing. These things are magic. The look on his face when he couldn't sink his claws in my couch was priceless. I will definitely be buying more. If you have a demon cat like me and can deal with a little shiny vinyl on your couch, these things will save you.

I purchased these because my destructive cats tore up two sofas. I purchased a new sofa and didn't want to go down that road again if I could help it. I have already tried sprays, calming scent diffusers, and double sided tape....none of these worked. I put these on two sofas and so far my cats have left them alone....at least I haven't caught them. I have had them on for a couple of months. Of course, you can see them but they have an obvious purpose. They attach by screw in fasteners with a spiral pin. I haven't had any problem with rips from these. They needed tightening a couple times, but that is it.

Works great, thickness prevents any clawing
I bought these after everything else failed. Cat double sided tape, stopped for a bit, then they clawed through it. At least 3 different sprays, my cats actually seemed to like the smell. Put clawing boards every where. The Defender is thick, easily to attach and the cats walk right by my furniture without a glance! Thank You! I have since bought more😊

Easy to install and works!
My kitty was doing a number on our new chair, especially the corners. After putting on the Furniture Defenders she's not interested any more. Definitely follow instructions on how to make the Defenders more pliable if you're using them for a corner. Tack screws work well; take care when unscrewing them, though. They may slightly snag the upholstery.

Not exactly discrete, but won't destroy your furniture
This just arrived today and I've put it on my furniture. I haven't had a chance to really test it out, but I included pictures so others could see what it really looks like. The screws are very small, so this really wouldn't damage your furniture. Leather would be more problematic, but I would prefer 4 small holes over numerous claw marks, I think.
