I read about these in an article about travel and I decided to give them a try. Normally, I wear 511s because they have all kinds of pockets so I don't have to carry a purse. But 511s are not quick to dry so they are a little difficult to wash when traveling. These slacks looked like they would have all the good pockets of 511s but be quicker and easier to wash and dry when traveling. I also liked the cuffed ankles because they make it a lot easier to tuck my slacks into boots and I wear boots a lot.Overall, these slacks fit well and are very comfortable. They are also made out of a quick dry fabric so they are super easy to wash by hand and then dry overnight.But...The pockets. Sigh. Yes, they have a lot of pockets. But they are not good pockets. With my 511s, I tuck soft things into the normal pockets so they don't dig into me when I sit, and then I use the pockets on the thighs for my wallet and cell phone. Perfect. While these slacks have similar pockets, they are placed super awkwardly. If I put my wallet or cell phone in the pockets on the thighs, the pockets are so deep that my wallet and cell phone are slamming into my knees each time I take a step. And if I put the phone or wallet in the top zipper pockets, I can't sit down without them digging into me.My only solution was to sew a seam in the thigh pockets about an 1.5" up from the bottom, thereby creating a new pocket bottom. The pockets are still deep enough for my cell phone in one and the wallet in the other, but they don't beat me up and slam into my knee with each step. My cell phone does come up to the top of the pocket, but it does fit and actually, it can fit in sideways which means it isn't right up at the top of the pocket anyway. Then I just use the zipper pockets for things like a handkerchief or other soft objects that aren't going to dig into me.Honestly, I had great hopes that I could replace my 511s with these slacks, but...no. These slacks are a little more comfortable as they move well and aren't as stiff, but when there are heavy things like wallets or cell phones in the pockets, they can beat me up unless I modify the pockets and that's just kind of annoying. I looked at the construction of the pockets on the 511s and they are made higher up on the thigh to avoid objects slamming the knee with each step. It does mean that more care has to be taken when constructing the slacks because the thigh pockets do overlap the regular pockets on the 511s so they can't just be willy-nilly sewn on the way they are on these slacks to keep both sets of pockets free. I'm sure that that extra work (i.e. avoiding that extra work) is why these slacks have the pockets placed the way they are as the sewing and construction is more straightforward with less chance of the thigh pocket sewing overlapping the construction of the upper pocket (you can tell that I've actually sewn my own clothing before...) so this is really just laziness by the manufacturer.In the end, I'll wear these slacks because I've modified them to make them work (more-or-less) for me by sewing new bottoms on the thigh pockets, but I shouldn't have had to do that and I won't be buying any more of these.If you are buying these because of the pockets and the desire to stop carrying a purse, you may want to reconsider that unless you are very long-legged. Or else you may need to consider sewing new bottoms on the thigh pockets like I had to do. Or maybe it's just that I'm the only one who has the issue of the cell phone battering my knee with every step if it's in the unmodified thigh pocket.

These are light weight and comfortable. I am 5'5" 146lbs and I purchased Medium according to the chart. They are not short as I saw a few mention. I have not washed them to see if they do well yet. The waist is comfortable with the stretch and I like the cuff at bottom. The pockets are large enough for my phone which is large.

These are very nice pants except they need to be ironed. Perhaps I treated them wrong, but they had a lot of wrinkles coming out of the package. I washed them in cool water and dried them on the low setting and not one wrinkle came out. Even the washing instructions state they will need to be ironed, Since I hate ironing, this is a real minus for me. Otherwise they would have received 5 stars.

I’m writing this review after owning three pairs of these pants for almost 2 years.I wear these pants 5 days a week. I used to work outside, now I work in a shop. I’ve snagged these pants on so many things, I’ve had box knives come open in my pockets, and not one of these pairs of pants has a hole. I’m 5’11 and 220lbs and the XXL fits great with some extra room because that’s my preference. I wear these at home to garden in and do projects. The stretch is fantastic and I enjoy how breathable the fabric is.I’m buying two more pairs in other colors because I love these pants. I wear them all season long but they aren’t meant for cold weather, so wear thermal gear underneath. They are fantastic in the heat.I’ve washed them hundreds of times by this point and they’ve held together so well. The inseam has varied on a few pairs but it hasn’t bothered me thus far.Literally best pair of pants I’ve ever owned.

These are my new favorite pants! I took them on vacation & didn't need to carry a purse around. My phone fit in my front pocket and did not fall out when I sat down. I put lightweight items in the side pockets. I didn't even need the back pocket. It fits perfectly. I'm 5'5", 113 lbs, and got size S. The length is perfect too.

they are a great nonwrinkle fabric great for warmer months and look very polished on me for casual outings, golf course luncheons and the like. They wash well and easy care. For the price, what's not to love? I got the grey.

Love these! I am 5’ so they are a little long but I just cuff the bottom and they are perfect! Love all the pockets and how lightweight they are - perfect for work!

What can I say...lately I have had so much success with all my purchases on Amazon!! These jogger pants are perfect. The material is lovely, soft and lightweight. I washed them and all they needed was a light ironing. They had some heavy duty packing creases, so maybe the next time I wash them I won't need to iron them at all. They disguise my tummy (yippee) and are the length is fine, certainly not short. I love them so much I bought a second pair.

I got these in a large, black. They fit perfect in waist and length (I’m 5’4”, 142 lbs). This fabric is amazing, normally I cannot wear black because of all the cat hair, but nothing sticks to it, super soft and comfortable fabric. well-made, great quality, I’ve washed them once already and they still look pressed and brand new, also wrinkle resistant. Love deep pockets for my iPhone. Love that I’m in joggers but it’s nice enough to wear out to dinner! I am ordering another black pair!

Love these trousers, lightweight, lots of pockets and look good. I am a size 14/16 and XL fit nice and baggy. They are so nice that I have ordered two more pairs in different colours.

I just received my first pair of these pants, and was so pleased to discover that the size chart is right on. I must say that the pants more than fill my expectations. They are sooo comfortable, light-weight, camouflage the tummy/thigh bulges, and simply look great. I have just placed an order for 2 more pairs. What a great find!!
