ErgotechFreedom Dual Arm, Metal Gray (FDM-PC-G02)

A friend recommended this brand for a single arm for one of my two monitor setups, and when I went to check on it, I saw this double-arm extender. I will admit, it was on sale for a great price at around black friday 2018, so that encouraged the purchase, but it's been an absolute game changer for my gaming setup. First, I don't have light monitors. They're fairly heavy, but these arms hold up very nice. All the space under my desk now, which was taken up by clunky stands, is now available for other PC accessories I use, and I've moved my desktop speakers around as a result to better fit. Aesthetically, I like them as well, although you don't really see them when you're in the front. They were a "tad" confusing to learn how to maneuver, but my wife had no problem understanding it, so maybe it was me.... Anyway, game changer for me. I can't think of living without them now.

I am satisfied with the product, it is really solid with high build quality, easily holding my 34' ultrawide and is very flexible on all kinds of rotations and angles.I am not satisfied with the delivery service however. Package was dropped in front of my house with no notice. How can I verify the package on the spot? Also the package itself is not sealed - The sealing tapes are actually cut into half, thus I was able to open the package without using any scissors or knife. I am not sure if I am the first owner or this is a returned product.

The product was fine no issues with the exception of the retaining ring of all things. Seems the threads are crossed so it will not lock into position in order to hold the monitors at a measured heights. Going to have to hit the machine shop for this fix. :)

These arms are wonderful. I use them for my home office and have a sit stand desk that they are attached to. They have yet to move from the place I adjusted them to since my install even though I’ve put 27” monitors on them.They even called to make sure that my monitor arms arrived and were in good shape! (I guess fedex has been damaging them while shipping them and they wanted to make sure I was not affected by this issue.)Only one drawback I have found so far is that the further you spread the monitor arms apart, the more you have to tighten the spring to hold them in your desired placement. Not a big deal honestly, but something worth mentioning.I would absolutely buy this arm set again. I will be purchasing the one arm version for my next monitor for sure.

It's a great product that's easy to assemble. The instructions aren't hard but could have been a bit better in regards to a metal piece that goes into the arm.
