Got a used Xterra that didn't have any key fobs. These worked great!

My original key fob fell apart and failed to function. So, like many of you looking to replace your crappy key fob, look no further. I bought this for a 2002 Nissan Xterra and it works flawlessly. Instructions came on how to program a new remote, and with only a brief moment of cursing I was on my way to using a brand new remote.*Soap Box* moment: The programming process was tedious and ridiculous. Seriously!? Might as well of have me press the brake, while standing on one leg, rolling all windows down at once, holding in the odometer reset and honking the horn with my chin. But making sure not to wait too long between each task, but not doing them too quickly. And after I honk the horn, to close the door, roll down the driver's window and manually unlock it from inside the car as you pump the brake 6 times during this entire process, not unlocking prior to the first press, but finishing before the 6th press. Thanks for making me jump through circus hoops and feel like an idiot Nissan!On a positive note, this remote is fantastic, and cheap to boot!

First of all, I have to say, what a great deal. I had lost my keys, went to the dealer and they wanted to charge me $150 for a new fob, plus a programming fee. I decided to just open my truck the old fashioned way and use the key. That got old after about 2 days. Luckily I found this on amazon and ordered two. The instructions for programming were fairly simple. The first fob I had to program twice, to get a hang of it, but the second fob I programmed in one try. The only issue I have with the fob is it usually takes a couple presses of the button to unlock/lock the truck and I think the range is a little shorter than the original fob. But for the price, I'm willing to deal with it.

Everything about this remote is perfect, looks and feels exactly like the original version, the buttons have a slight "click" to them letting you know the button was pushed, which I like. The icons on the button themselves are bright and look great. Programming was easy, took me a few tries to get the timing/order down but it wasn't complicated (I have a '02 Nissan Xterra). This product lost a star because I had to look up the instructions for my car online on a website they recommended, which I thought was silly considering its a car specific product and could've easily included in the packaging.

I never realized that you could get this item so inexpensively and on top of that be so easy to program and work so well! I bought this item for my son's vehicle and so when it came (and by the way the shipping speed was really fast) I handed it to him and he went right out to program it. I kid you not, he was back in the house in less than 5 minutes and I asked him if he was done already and he said "ya it was easy and works great" to my shock and surprise. So that's about it except to say that I would recommend this to anyone!

Click a button and the doors unlock. Click another and the opposite happens. Click the last button and your neighbors will hate you.It is, in fact, a party in your pants.Shipping was super fast (three days). Bonus points for the seller including very clear, very accurate instructions on programming these things. Took all of five minutes to read 'em, program the two fobs I ordered, and pat myself on the back for being so darned clever.

Happy to report I have not been locked out of the car since the day it arrived. I was really a little concerned when I saw the price. If you ever tried to get one of these from the car dealer you know what I mean. It works great. Works just like the one that came with the car (that of course the spousal unit HAD to have). A little cheap on the look and material but works fine

I followed all instructions to set the fob but still cant get it to work. I watched lots of videos on YouTube but still nothing!
