Lindy's Stainless Steel Seamless 1-Gallon Milk Jug with Milk Embossed, Anti-Leak Liquid Storage Container with Tight Lid and Long Swivel Handle

I originally bought this container as a photo prop, I loved it for that! But,when I started milking multiple of my goats, I found it came in handy to pour the milk after milking each doe, pop the lid on and then milk the next while the first milk is safe and covered. The lid is more difficult to take off, but I like that, as I am carrying a lot of stuff back from the milking room to the house and I dont have to worry about spills. It is very easy to clean, much easier than a lot of the pails I have used in the past. I just love it!

I almost didn’t buy these milk jugs because there is more than one review saying they don’t hold a full gallon, WELL THEY DO HOLD A FULL 128 oz. (A FULL GALLON !!!) just below the shoulder of the jug so there is plenty of room for the lid to fit securely on the top without sitting in the milk. These jugs fit in the dishwasher and they are well made and perfect for hauling milk from the farm ,where I pickup fresh milk and they travel (in a cooler bag) well on the car ride home.

I'm a milk drinker. I bought a gallon of 2% milk in a yellow jug. I had to clean it each time that I another gallon of milk. My wife suggested that I get rid of the jug. One day I was on this website looking for a 1 gallon glass bottle. I ran across this item and decided to buy it. With the word 'MILK' with the letters on the side, I was more inclined to purchase it. The only problem that I had was that the so and so's at the Little Rock, Arkansas Amazon shipping port, sent my item to Louisville, Kentucky, delaying my order. To the Lindy's company I say: "THANK YOU"!! for making this item and I thank God for it too!!

We ordered one of these previously and the product was as expected. The second order we placed, we received dented in multiple places around the can. It’s a hassle to get it returned so I guess I’m stuck with it, but if I had known I’d be paying full price for a half quality item, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Very frustrating, especially since I go out of my way to preserve the quality of my things.

Works like it should.

Feels solid. Perfect size for milking smaller goats. And so cute with the word "milk" stamped on it.

I purchased two. I like the size and the words on the cans are cute. One is good. But the other is almost impossible to open and you can see the welding marks which my farmer told me to watch so they don’t rust. My fault for not returning the bad one but I was hoping it would get easier to open with use. But it’s been 6 months and it’s not.

The fact that it's stainless is well worth it
