Great price, quality and comfort
I researched Bubblebum, Tri-fold, as well as Hiccapop, to death. I had to make a decision. I bought 4 for an upcoming airplane ride. I hauled the Graco boosters thru an airport last year and was miserable. We had an unexpected trip to Florida and decided to try them out. The kids loved them. They thought they were so cushy. That was pretty awesome for the 10 hr car ride. No air escaped as some reviews stated and are well made. The shoulder strap was important for the younger ones.Taking them on the plane was easy. I worried about collapsing them in a timely fashion when at the airport, but I just popped open the valve while they were sitting, flattened, folded and packed. I actually put 2 in one pouch. Overall great product that now the kids fight over the middle seat and will just change out the grace booster to the Hiccopop. ThanksUPDATE 2/20216 Months and Hiccapop still going strong. They are our main boosters now. Always in the car and haven't lost air. Still a great product.

Bubble Bum’s bigger, sturdier big brother
Definitely never written a review on Amazon and included photos so that should say something. I was really impressed with this seat from the get go. I’ll be brief so here are the highlights:PROS:• Thicker and firmer seat than a Bubble Bum (my 9 y.o. always felt the Bubble Bum was too squishy and flat)• No slip grip bottom (if you have a Bubble Bum you absolutely know how annoying it is that those seats slide around, especially on leather. Really doesn’t feel safe at all)• Wider seat with better side walls. My 9 y.o. said this feels a lot more like her Graco backless booster• Metal belt guides (as opposed to plastic) feel a lot more substantial.• Construction that feels very solid (the belt guides are secured to the actual bladder not the cover)• Cover very easily zips off for cleaning and is machine washable.• Interior bladder is wipeable vinyl• I love that the shoulder belt is secured by a strong, grip clip so it doesn’t slide on the shoulder belt webbing and need to be adjusted every time the child gets in the car. (I had “discussions” with my 9 y.o about the importance of using the Bubble Bum shoulder guide but who refused because it always just slid around)• Very quick inflation with the one way valve (no more trying to race to twist that valve shut!)• Deflates with one quick poke of the valve• The quality of the webbing is also much better, thicker and stronger on this seat than a Bubble Bum.POSSIBLE CONS:• I could see the width possibly being an issue especially if you’re trying to do three across in a very small car. But honestly, it’s an inflatable seat, so if it were me, I’d make it work.• This is heavier than a Bubble Bum and larger when rolled up (and stored in its travel bag) so take that into consideration if your child will need to lug this around for any extended amount of time.WHAT I WOULD CHANGE:If I had to nit pick, I might add some way to secure the tail of the shoulder belt clip to itself so it doesn’t dangle down my child’s back. The tail is also really long.So glad that there is a better inflatable option out there. With three kids in some form of car/booster seat we have to use them in our small suv and for traveling/carpooling. If my opinion changes, I’ll update this review but honestly I really didn’t like the Bubble Bum and many of the things I didn’t like about it are addressed in this seat.Good luck!

This is the one!
My kid is big enough to need only a booster seat when we are in the car. Last time we traveled, I tried that fold-up flat "car seat" and it was a headache. I hadn't done a dry run before we got where we were going, and it took me nearly half an hour to find a setting that was safe for my kiddo. I HATED the strap that "dangles" upward from the back to try to hold the shoulder belt in the proper place (because the seat was flat rather than raised, the way it works is to hold the shoulder belt lower, which is NOT something reflected in the photos). Anyway, I left it in the rental car and told the guy he could have it or throw it away because it was garbage. This trip, I was dreading taking our full-sized booster and thought about getting the OTHER inflatable booster, which is the one that comes up first if you do a search. But the stuff I read about it didn't please me, and it seemed to have the back strap, too. That just seems like a death trap to me, if you have a kid who moves around, bends over, falls asleep in the car, etc. I also looked at the folding one but read that people said it had slid into the floor, out from under their kid.So, I decided just to try this, to buy it and inflate it and if I hated it, we'd just take the every day booster... which I did not want to do.THIS WAS GREAT. It comes in a drawstring weather-somewhat-resistant bag, and is deflated and rolled up inside. The valve is just one piece that you have to adjust before you blow it up, but then it's a one-way valve that works great. It has a textured "nubby" bottom to prevent sliding across the seat. It was easy to put in place, and the side hooks really hold the seat belt in place. The result of this is that my kid needed help getting out, whereas he can exit his normal booster alone. But, frankly, I'd rather it hold tight and have to assist than to have it move around or eject my kid when it's needed most.I did a "top-off" supplemental blow midway through our five-day trip, but that was because it was very cold. The seat held its air and stayed inflated well. It didn't move when my kid was in it, and my kid is not a statue traveler. The only reason I gave this 4 stars for comfort instead of 5 is that we did miss his cup-holder, but I did not miss lugging that seat through the airports and all of the associated transportation between car, plane, and destination.Do recommend!

Rideshare life saver
I purchased this for my 5 year old to use when we travel. He is around 3'9 and 45-50 lbs. It is incredibly easy to use in any rideshare vehicle. The seatbelt adjuster clip can be moved so the seat can be installed on either side of a vehicle. The inflation valve is large so the seat inflates in about 3 or 4 breaths. I never get winded blowing it up. The air does not escape between the last breath and closing the valve the way it does when blowing up a raft, which is nice. When we're finished with it, it deflates in seconds and is easily rolled up back into the bag, which is about the size of laptop. I find it to be extremely easy to transport when we are on the go. It is lightweight yet very sturdy. It is so travel-friendly that I sometimes bring it along to concerts or shows where my son needs to be higher in his seat. The covering is a quality fabric with a non-skid rubbery bottom. We have used this booster many, many times for over a year and the fabric still looks new. I will say that in the last 2 months I did notice the booster losing air. It comes with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE and boy do they stand by it! I contacted the company regarding the issue and they responded within a few hours. The customer service was amazing. A new booster was shipped out the same day. So simple. Even if the booster only ends up lasting another year, with all the use I get out of it I would still consider it money well spent. I am a very happy customer.

Great for traveling.
We bought this to use for week long vacation where a few car rides would be needed. Since we were flying we didn't want to lug along the regular car seat for a handful of car rides.Pros: inflates quickly...literally 2-3 breaths worth of air is all it took.Takes up very little space. Was able to roll it up and fit in my backpack.Deflates just as easily.Kept our 6 year old sitting where he is supposed to be, and heard no complaints about comfort.Cons: Our 6 year old couldn't buckle himself (he does with his regular seat). Since the buckle needs to be threaded through the little clips on either side of the seat he got frustrated trying to do it himself. Not ideal for young kids who are prone to sleeping in a car. Our longest car ride was 45 min and of course he fell asleep. I had to crawl into the back seat so he could lean his head against my shoulder and not be laying sideways across the seat.Overall though we will use this again for plane trips where we may only be using a car a few times. I keep it in my car now just in case I have an extra kid who needs to ride with me. Would also be great for grandparents who need to take grandkids on short trips.
