Our son is 7 and loves this! He wants to be Sophie Dossie when he grows up and this is great for helping him practice. It is heavy so safety is a concern if you have shorter, younger kids wandering around.

Very sturdy, holds up well, and I love the bag it came with! Makes moving it so much easier. The tape was a big plus too, so I didn’t have to go buy any.

My 12yo daughter wanted this for Christmas. It is well manufactured!

I took a particularly good look at the most important part, which is where the eyelet is welded to the hoop. Sometimes you look at welds, and they're scary, frankly. But the welds on this hoop actually look like they were done by somebody that actually knows how to weld. Which is to say, it should be safe. The accessories included with this also look very adequate and up to the task.I would like to point out something I've come to accept after working with safety equipment in various industries such as amusement park ride maintenance and the military. Equipment that you can be injured or even killed using should be INSPECTED REGULARLY. You suspend your entire weight from this. When you move and bounce around on it. that momentarily increases the amount of weight beyond what you actually weigh. So the hoop and the strap and the other connecting components encounter a LOT of strain.PLEASE - get into the habit of inspecting the hanging equipment and hoop for signs of wear or damage every time you use it. 10 or 20 seconds vs how long in the hospital for shattered vertebrae? The math is simple. Be diligent about equipment inspections with gear like this, never be complacent. Words to the wise.This is a quality piece of gear with good accessories. It should provide years and years of service.

I love my Lyra! Solid. Smooth. Well made. I wrapped mine with the tape but I prefer non to do my rolls easier. Comes in a nice carrying zippered bag. Comes with everything you need .

Perfect! Super sturdy and comes with everything you need to get started except for the mount even comes with a carrying bag with a shoulder strap! No issues at all so far love it
