17 Piece Stainless Steel Measuring Cups and Spoons Set, with 1/16 Cup,1/3 Spoon and 1 Leveler

I bought these because I wanted to use an accurate measuring spoon/cup for my puppies dog food (dry). I looked at a bunch of sets on Amazon and didn’t want to spend too much, originally I was going to settle on 4 or 5, instead of 7, but found it hard finding a set that would include a 1/8 cup, without sparing the 2/3 cup or 1/3 cup or even 1/2 cup etc. I had been using two table spoons of my own silverware but felt like despite the equivalent of that which is .125 cups = 1/8 a cup, my own spoon was possibly on the larger size and not accurate. I do wish the measuring cups were the exact color as seen in the description, but know that it stated that the colors weren’t necessarily going to be the same as the set shown, even though I received all the colors shown, it varies on each size, (I wish that the two cups i use mainly were teal and purple, instead of orange and red. (The teal and purple cups are larger sizes, so I have only used them to scoop food in a ziplock bag. Since I only use the 1/8 cup one most of the time, I know which one I am using since it’s Orange, but have made the mistake of using the red one a couple of times but it wasn’t a big issue as it’s 1/4 a cup, and then just adjusted my puppies food measuring for the next meal. I haven’t washed them yet since I have only used a couple and it’s only been used to scoop my puppies dry dog food from the bag, but they are sturdy, I appreciate that the measuring number is engraved and it also includes the equivalent in terms of grams, not to mention these are bpa free! The only other critique I have (and this would likely not be an issue for baking or more usual uses), is that I wish they had a bit of a curve, making the food kinda go out like a pour rather then no angle whatsoever, making it harder to make sure the food doesn’t fall on the floor, when I put it in my puppies small slow feeder doggie bowl. But if it was just being put in a regular dog bowl, it wouldn’t matter. I found other measuring sets that were less expensive for the basic purpose I needed, but but steered away from them because most had the measurements printed on them, which many reviewers would often state would wear off within the first wash/fade quickly, as well as cheaper materials in some of those sets,, many in which weren’t bpa free etc. All and all, If you are looking for a colorful, basic measuring cup set that is made with safe materials at a fair price and with all the measurements a typical 4-5 piece set wouldn’t have, I certainly recommend these!

These measuring spoons are pretty much perfect - great range of sizes, raised lettering for units that won't rub off, dishwasher safe, won't rust because they're plastic and inexpensive. It's worth noting that they have a slight curve that helps them nest within each other. Not a big deal but keeps them from sitting completely flat. These are cheap enough where I took three of the spoons off the ring and keep them separate to measure out powder-based supplements. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who needs measuring spoons.

Sturdy, dishwasher safe & the spout is one of the main reasons I purchased them. Different colors makes choosing a specific measurement easier since I use the 1/2 cup size frequently. The smooth interior side of each cup was added bonus. I just ordered the measuring spoons to go along with this set. The team that designed this product thought of all aspects of what measuring cups should be!

I was looking for a teaspoon that I could use to measure my powder supplement while traveling. Most all teaspoons are stainless steel - too heavy and almost all measuring spoons are too long for travel and won't fit in the container for my powder. I chose this because plastic is lightweight, won't scratch things, and the length was only 6.5 inches (I was hoping for 5" but couldn't find). The plus was that I got all other measurements besides just the teaspoon. I like the way the spoons are curved at the end so that they lay flat rather than being off balance (see pic). I also like the really flat rectangular shape of the spoon end. Wish it said what kind of plastic it was and didn't say it was BPA-free. I hope it's ABS. Color is true but keep in mind 2 small inaccuracies: (1) The listing says both "8 piece" and "8 spoons". You can see in the pic that it's 8 pieces, not 8 spoons. The 8th item is the leveler. The packaging said it came with 1/3 tsp but it's 1/4 as shown in the Amazon pic. These are small inaccuracies that you can be aware of just by looking at the site pic. The hole at the end is convenient, the ring is fine. Seems to be a good seller.

I purchased this set of stainless steel measuring cups after having plastic or pyrex measuring cups most of my baking live (over 40 years). I like this set, it goes down to 1/16 of a cup. I sometimes cut recipes in half so having smaller measuring cups is a nice feature. The only reason for the lower ratings is this: WATCH OUT for the edges of the measuring cups when you are washing them, they are a little sharp and a person could get cut. It would be great if the manufacturers could smooth them more.

Being on a new food program I love having the smaller size measuring cups. It gives me many options for knowing exactly what quantity I need to stay on program. I got rid of my old ones as they were rubber and broke. Very professional looking.

I have been looking for a set that was compact to replace a set I had for years. Most sets were flimsy and only 4 measurements. I cook a lot and needed the extra measurements in this set. It nests very nicely taking up little space and are very sturdy. Easy to clean. Love them

Nice strong metal measuring tools but not heavy. The odd size measures are great and easy to read. I took off the ring keeping the cups together to make them easier to clean. They stack nicely without it.
