fantastic, will continue to reorder regularly
Love this and have reordered a few times. Came in a tightly packed box, so no damage or breakage to the product. I really appreciate this brands vegan items. The cheese sauce tastes really good and actually thickens up a bit. Hands down this brands mac and cheese (both the GF and the non-GF) are the best vegan option out there right now.

stinky but good
some say it smells like vomit, i dont see it, it just smells like stinky cheese, it tastes like fake cheese, but if you like the fake cheese taste its really good (which i do)

Flavor is actually pretty good, noodles not so soft
I have been looking for a dairy free option of gluten free Mac n cheese and I wanted to give this one a try. I had to cook the noodles for about 25-27 minutes at high elevation. Some are still not super soft. They taste ok, and the vegan cheese power tastes pretty good. So all in all I give it 4/5 stars.

Surprisingly Tasty, Didn't Bother My FODMAP Sensitivity Or IBS / Celiac / Lactose Intolerance!
I bought this product because I love Annie's but the dairy in their 'regular' gluten free mac and cheese bothered my stomach. After reading the ingredients and knowing the bad luck I've had with other versions of vegan / gluten free / dairy free mac and cheese, I was expecting the yucky. But this one pleasantly surprised me!I made mine with water instead of the almond milk suggested, and added butter before mixing the sauce in. If you're not restricted to the vegan lifestyle, the butter really helps balance the slightly tart, sometimes sour (but in a good way) cheese sauce. The sauce itself (and maybe this is because I used water) CAN get a bit gritty or pasty if you don't add enough moisture. If you aren't used to the no-cheese vegan flavor, I'd recommend easing into this slowly. I find it appealing, but my father, who is not gluten free and doesn't touch vegan / dairy free substitutes, could not stand it.The good news, NO stomach distress after eating this, and I am very FODMAP sensitive with severe IBS. I have mild Celiac and lactose intolerance, and I had no problems with this mac and cheese. But again, everyone is different. The only way to know is to try it!All in all, I am very pleased with this one and will continue to eat it!

Surprisingly Scruptious!!
I have an adult child with special needs who has certain dietary restrictions and is on a gluten free/dairy free (GF/DF) diet. I had been buying another brand of GF/DF mac and cheese, but the cheese was rather greasy and my child tended to get a stomach ache after eating it. But she loves mac and cheese. I knew about Annie's but didn't know they had a vegan alternative without all the oil. So, when I came across this particular Annie's product, I got excited and bought some and both my special needs child and my grandchild LOVED IT. I tried it myself and thought it tasted so much better than what I'd been buying. The "cheese" powder (actually vegetable based of course since it's vegan... duh! LOL!) tastes closer to real cheese than the other brand, and the rice based pasta holds up nicely, not falling apart like some pastas do (although the other brand's pasta holds up well, too.) Although the other brand I used to buy makes a bit more than this one, the better taste is why I'll be buying this kind from now on. I think it evens out because I end up paying less per box. I highly recommend this product! Kudos, Annie's!

Not the original recipe!
I'm so upset! I bought this because I like to eat vegan and I need to eat gluten free, but it seems they changed both the packaging the recipe without any warning! The original recipe was made with "pumpkin" and "sweet potato", which gave it a nice creamy and subtly sweet flavor. This new recipe does not make any mention of either, nor does it taste even similar. On top of that, the first box I opened did not even come with a cheese packet in it. I've only made two boxes so far. The second one was decent and still edible, which is why I gave it at least three stars, but it was very thick, and not necessarily in a desirable way, due to the flavor. It did not taste anything like the original recipe. I would never have spent $31 on mac and cheese if I had realized that the recipe was changed, and if I had known I would get a box that didn't have the cheese packet in it. I can just imagine what the rest of my order is going to be like.

Good stuff
Sometimes you crave some good ole cheap Mac and cheese but you’ve become lactose and gluten free? Your stomach will thank you with this. The texture, and health benefits of just making food at home is with the extra money for an easy prep meal.

Tastes awful. Takes forever to cook and it’s still hard.
