HJC Helmets Unisex-Adult Full Face i10 Helmet (Black, XL)

Helmet looks great. Started out worried cause it was tight on my fat face. Im a 58 all day for my hats and this lg 58/60 was tight. after a couple days breaking it in though it has squished the pads and fits great. probably better off having it snug than loose anyway for safety. not my first helmet.

Also the shape of the d-ring and the size differential between the two rings makes it a very difficult put on and put off experience.Helmet is still very tight to remove, but I still love the fit. Comfy on long runs.Very quiet.The shield has many indents. Awesome last detent let's me get some more air.Air flow is very good.Added a video_______This is a well made helmet. it's VERY tight. I had another Snell2015 helmet and it was far easier to take off. this one, you have to really work at it. i have the XL.The visibility is amazing. I bought the optional smoke shield, which is well made and very clear. the helmet did not come with chin curtain, which is another must have and I ordered one which snapped in. My old one would not work, since the lip of the chin is not able to allow pushing in the retaining plastic tabs from the old chin curtain.The pockets in the helmet for speakers fit aftermarket speakers perfectly. the left side has an arrow on the rim of the helmet, which indicates best placement of the BT wireless. For this to be installed and wires routed, I pulled off the cheek pad on the left completely and cut a notch on the plastic tab to allow the wires to go in. the cut is not visible. There's already a cut, but not where I needed it.the strap snaps at a good location and makes it easy to use. the helmet is comfortable and quiet. (not going at 70, which nothing is quiet)the air vents are super effective. no fogging.nice helmet. probably the best I've purchased to this time

Just one star off for air flow, but is fairly quiet. I have always worn XL helmets and this one is almost too tight. Good value for a Snell rated helmet.

Why is it that out of the brands ive owned (Bell-AGV) and now tried HJC they have this helmet snell rated but not afford to place a chin pad or chin curtain? Asked on reddit and was told that you can buy the piece?! At first thought it was a replacement but nope most HJC helmets come this way i guess. Not buying unless im physically looking at the helmet. Im looking for that long distance touring type of helmet but with safety and sadly its not this one.

The fit and finish of the helmet is very good for the cost. The ventilation is pretty adequate. It's nice that the helmet is designed to work with speakers and intercom. I didn't buy it for that reason but once I realized it was set up for it I upgraded it and I'm very happy

I picked this as my first helmet just before I took my MSF course. It worked great through the course and I've been riding in it over the past month and a half or so and it's been great! The fit is good and the pads seem to be holding up and wearing well. Ventilation seems good. I did order the chin curtain (couldn't find it here so had to order from somewhere else) and it definitely seems to keep things quiet for me. I have not purchased a Pinlock insert yet, but plan to shortly. I've been riding in mild to cool weather and the visor does fog up on me at stops occasionally. I recently installed the JZAQ bluetooth headset that I found here on Amazon which is SUPER inexpensive if you're wanting to test out having bluetooth in your helmet. I ride alone so I just wanted to have some music and the ability to take a call if needed. I had to add some small felt risers (felt furniture feet that I compressed as short as I could) under the speakers, but it fit in the helmet just fine and now I like the helmet even better. Looks-wise, this one has just enough going on that it seems tasteful, nothing crazy and not too plain. The brighter blue honeycomb accent on the darker blue looks really good on this helmet. I'm happy with it and will definitely consider HJC for my next helmet.

Ordered size Large as per HJC size chart. I have an older HJC open face that fits perfectly. That’s why I ordered the i10. Nice looking helmet with lots of vents. The shell is huge but the chin guard is too tight for my head. This review is based on the overall size and shape of the helmet not on how it performs.

For is a little tight for an XL I have an older HJC in a large fits better not as snug.

Good after 6 month don’t get problem it this product. I recommend for every one.
